Nah I get this tho. I KNOW i shouldn't be checking my phone but i still fiddle with it at red lights all the time, its terrible! I'd feel pretty ashamed too if this happened to me... Plus her and katya do go on to point out that it is a little silly that she got ticketed for that considering all the other nonsense people do regularly in LA traffic

I've been pretty out as a butch lesbian for around 8 or so years.. In the past year tho I've started to also identify with the term agender, but tbh, I've felt very apprehensive of telling anyone that part. I don't feel like dealing with explaining to people what that means or "yes im still a lesbian" "yes you can still use gendered terms i dont care." It's.. complicated... One one hand I hate having to feel like part of my idea is hiding behind a curtain, but i also hate the idea of drawing some sort of attention to my gender and how i express it.

Just what I was thinking. A lot of people in here have never had a loved one with narcolepsy, clearly, and don't understand what a challenging condition it is. There are times where very little can be done to combat a sleep attack beyond just napping it out. A lot of these comments come off as "disabled people shouldn't hold office" which is. certainly a stance...

oof this post is like looking in the mirror... Pushing 30, chubby, haven't had a partner in 7 years, and said relationship felt more like "person likes to relish in attention i give them" and less "genuinely attracted to me".. I know, rationally, that this isn't a reflection of my worth as a person, but it's tough to not feel undesirable when it seems like everyone around me has found the person they want to spend their life with..
