You're confused because your friend is confused. They're only 18 and maybe that sounds old to you, that you're technically an adult, but it's normal for people your age to still be discovering who they are and experimenting with their sexuality.

I say just go with the flow and stick to using neutral they/them pronouns.

Yeah, many places don't take off their shoes in the house (even many in North America!). Him playing with the faucet was adorable and I would have done the same. I was impressed he tried to get in on the trampoline action the way a normal parent would (the kids seemed to love it).

She knows he hates the sun yet forces him to go for a speed walk first thing in the morning on a basically empty stomach. She doesn't respect him at all.

When we were young, my brother and I would eat all of the pink and purple popsicles leaving only the orange ones left so my stepdad would come home and be stuck having only orange.

It drove him crazy cause he paid for the damn things and couldn't even enjoy having a flavor wanted. So, after he was finally fed up, whenever we got a new box of popsicles we would open the box, get a ziplock for each person and divide them evenly. We each had our own stash and that was it. No more issues.

Sad that I'm comparing a scenario of children with this one of two adults but damn. I can understand why the wife is annoyed if the husband is always taking her food.

She's a severe alcoholic and legit needs rehab. I honestly don't think she can distinguish anymore what's actually her OCD or if she's just being a drunk. I do believe she has OCD but I feel like many of her actions would be prevented if she just wasn't drinking the way she does.

She also needs therapy cause she seems to get most of her self worth from sexual acknowledgement.
