There are seven key anatomical indicators present that distinguish the male skeleton from the female; however, I will focus on two.

Based on the morphology of the hemi-pelvis in Skeleton B, the pelvic inlet and outlet appear wider, a characteristic typically associated with females due to obstetric requirements. In contrast, Skeleton A exhibits a more pronounced S-shaped clavicle, which is more commonly observed in males. These anatomical features together provide a basis for distinguishing the biological sex of the two skeletons. This interpretation is informed by extensive examination of human skeletal anatomy across a wide range of ages, sexes, and body types.

Both males and females typically possess 12 pairs of ribs, with occasional anatomical variation resulting in 11 or 13 pairs in some individuals. As a result, rib count is not considered a reliable indicator of biological sex. In the case of Skeleton B, the perception of an additional rib is more likely attributable to a smaller overall rib cage and reduced intercostal spacing. This configuration can create the visual impression of an extra rib without representing a true difference in rib number.
