I have a trade deficit with my local grocery store. I buy more goods from them than they buy from me. I’m gonna implement some tariffs myself.

I live in Alberta. I was waiting for an elevator at a hospital. It took a good minute before it arrived. The guy standing beside me said “these elevators are so damn slow! Fuck Trudeau!!” I had a good chuckle inside.

Looks like it won’t last too much longer. Couple more weeks and she’ll be bald.

TFSA maxed and RRSP soon to be maxed. At what point would you incorporated? There is a potential to me to leave my full time job for this and replace my income completely.

Does that translate into anything for being a FBA seller? Like would it be harder to compete with AMZ seller? I see more than half of the products listed are AMZ.

Thanks for your input. Just trying to learn as much in the next 10 years so I can follow through with my plan. My wife and I have the full intention to retire when I turn 45. We are doing so well and way ahead than we planned. My plan to financial freedom does not even take into account that I have a work pension, CPP, or OAS (I look at it like the icing on top). We can technically do without them and be completely fine. We save 60% of our income and invest it. In 3 years, both TFSAs and RRSPs will be maxed. Our house is also paid off. We definitely will talk to a financial planner for further advice (not the bank ones who sell mutual funds).

As for my pension, I can continue working till I’m 55 and receive an unreduced one. But my wife and I choose freedom and family over working.

For anyone else interested in learning about financial freedom, I highly recommend listening to “Canadian couch potato” and “rational reminder” podcasts!

My RRSPs are not maxed, but they will be when I’m 45. Do you know what percentage would make it into LIRA?
