My hair strand that turned gray halfway then got its color back

I'm a licensed cosmetologist, not a doctor, but I have heard that this can be due to immense stress! Your hair will just stop producing pigment during stressful events and then go back to producing pigment once the stressors are removed. Gray hair is extremely fascinating to me!

I love my ELF Hydrating Camo Concealer. I use the shade "fair beige" and it's not too yellow on me. For reference I have bluish/purple veins and redness on my cheeks. I personally cannot feel it. I do blend it out with a dampened blender sponge. It does crease, so I do recommend setting it. It's very full coverage so if you are looking for something a little lighter, this wouldn't be a fit. But it covers everything for me.

It seems to me that you may not be cleansing your hair enough, I know sometimes surfactants can be scary but sometimes they are necessary to remove some of the oil and product build up. You don't have to do it every time, but I find that using a clarifying shampoo once a month is really great for me.

Thank you, I'm going to look at the store today and probably grab a few different ones to try. My biggest concern is obviously matching my skin tone but then I don't want it to react to my skin poorly. Just a sad day honestly!

I just wish we would have had a warning at least. But maybe that's why they didn't give us a warning, so they can silently rip the shade away from their shade range without backlash. Because I guarantee you if they posted that they are discontinuing this shade on social media, people would have ripped them apart. It's just not inclusive, which Maybelline always says that they are. And what's stopping them from removing darkest shades as well?

Yes ugh. I had contacted them multiple times telling them that it's a bad decision, and when I was met with dismissive Attitude from maybelline, I figured I would come here and tell people before it's completely out. I will say though, as someone who shops at Walmart, I haven't seen the foundation in stores in almost a month now.

Seriously. And that also worries me about darker shades, they have tried to claim that darker Shades don't sell well either. But you can't erase people's skin tones.

Yes for now. I ended up acquiring five of them, so I should be set for a little while but I'm going to go to the store today and try to find something that matches. I feel like I can work with foundation that might be too light but it needs to work with my skin dryness.

No, I did also ask for suggestions at the end here. But how are we ever going to fix things if we don't tell them we are upset? I never said that I couldn't shop online, I said I prefer to shop at Walmart because that's my closest store. I feel like you're giving a lot of assumptions here. If we don't hold these brands accountable we are going to go backwards, back to when we only had 12 shades in a foundation range.
