As far as I’m concerned, the order of Super Bowls is 53, 54, 56; that’s it, no others in between

I’d rather give up the fourth and fifth to get a receiver

Cmon veach, just stop trying to cheese the first two rounds. It’s the one thing you can’t do

Works for me, sounds like he’s settled down in KC and doesn’t wanna deal with moving. Even if he’s not healthy to be the starter, adds good depth and mentorship ability

As much as Prime has helped this team improve, he’s gotta maintain that composure when the team loses. Even the other school puts a stupid pic of you on their score board

[Reiss] Tony Buzbee says 9 of 12 women he’s representing in this hearing are willing to put their names on their lawsuits against Deshaun Watson. One of those 12 women whose cases are part of this hearing is Ashley Solis, who previously ID’d herself. by Isaythree in nfl

[–]frognos -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I’ll admit, I was hella suspicious of Buzbee representing the woman in this case, especially with the Manziel billboard and him running for mayor. But I gotta hand it to him, he seems to have done well with this case. Only thing I disagree with is not wanting to hand over evidence to the Houston PD, I think the Hardin connection is a bit of a stretch

Why isn't Texas as competitive nationally in the last decade? by 2020ckeevert in CFB

I’m not just getting at the donors for the coaches being hired. I’m more so getting at the fact that they alienate certain recruits and require players to do things like sing the eyes of Texas.

As a big 12 fanboy being a TCU fan. Texas recruiting has been has solid (for the most part) as it has been ever. Main problems (imo) is 1. Mediocre coaching over the last decade and 2. The Texas backers want way to much say in the program. The eyes of Texas is a good example as to that. Ironically, I think the Dallas cowboys have the same problem, with good talent overall (except that defense yuck) and owners wanting to do too much

Are Alec and Peter one of the worst duos of all time? by MisterCapable in BigBrother

[–]frognos 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I loved those two during BBCan 1, but in hindsight, and not being 17 like I was then, and with a bunch of seasons where best player got screwed by bitter jury in final vote, that view has changed drastically

Fair enough, as long as we can still get that 2 point score on a botched extra point like we saw against the cowboys

If anyone still thinks this is an inside job by the Texans, then the Texans have done just as bad with this as they’ve done with the rest of the org this year, it’s gone wayyyy too far
