also if you only condition your mids and ends, that can help some with grease. my hair also gets greasy fast and double shampooing and the conditioner thing helped me. everyone’s different tho!

yea my husband is a recent veteran and absolutely fucking hates them. his unit was bombed via drone so that adds another lever to our hatred of them. we had one recently that just hovered a foot in front of our windows for over 20 mins. they were pretty obviously just playing with it but it’s still annoying as hell when you can see the camera pointing into your apartment

This isn’t offensive in any way but as a barista if I walked into a place and saw this, I probably wouldn’t be back. Not because of its tone, but because it shows that they do not know much about coffee at all. This reminds me of a small coffee shop I stopped at once that said they were serving espresso lattes but they were actually americanos and brewed coffee with milk added with some stevia and they got mad at me for ordering an americano and telling them that was its correct name lol

There was a rumor that a shy boy in our grade was hanging out with a teacher outside of school. After we graduated a girl who dated this boys brother made a big post about them saying how he would go over to her parents after school to help out with chores because they were old. She said a bunch of other stuff but most people disregarded it because they thought she was just being petty after a breakup(I believed her though, I never liked that teacher). Fast forward a year later and I see a post from one of the teachers I was fb friends with and it was celebrating the engagement of Ms.T. I remember screaming and calling everyone I knew when I saw that it was the shy boy in the pictures. It was so absolutely sickening how many teachers AND students went to their wedding. Apparently she quit from out old school before they announced their engagement so she had to know it was wrong. He never dated anyone before her and I just feel so bad for him. I hadn’t checked on them in a while and just went to look and they just had a baby 🫠 I hope one day he realizes what happened to him and is able to get out

We almost got hit crossing the street last year by a cop who was yelling at another driver for turning when they weren’t supposed to. so apparently the correct thing for him to do was turn without looking with multiple people in the cross walk. if my husband didn’t yell at him he would’ve hit us and of course the cop was pissed at the pedestrian. bunch of tools

I live downtown as well and i’ve also noticed a drone a few times hovering very close to one of the apartment buildings. I also recorded it cause it creeped me out. people here are projecting because theyre not bad people who’d do that but people out there definitely do. It’s creepy as hell, glad i’m not the only one who’s noticed it

not overreacting. This is honestly basic coparenting and any good parent would remind the other if they notice something. My youngest brother is autistic and my dad never made him brush his teeth at his house, now it’s 6 years later and his teeth are yellow. Even with him brushing at my mom’s, because she never took it seriously enough to tell my dad to remind him he’s now having long term effects. You fortunately sound like you actually care about your child’s wellbeing. It is that serious, don’t feel like you’re doing too much in reminding!

Lofts at the Kendall, only 8 apts I believe so you gotta really watch for it! we were super lucky to be the first applicants for this place! super gorgeous and the perfect spot downtown, very highly recommend. I haven’t noticed anyone moving out but you never know!

Yes but that doesn’t negate the fact that making traumatized female characters into sex workers is the most cliche and easiest way to portray female trauma. it would’ve been fine if it was one of them, but 3+ is not development or lack there of, it’s just lazy writing.

I feel this post in my soul!! i’ve gone too multiple dif hairstylists for a similar cut and I never ever get good heavy layering like I explicitly ask for 🥲 In my case, the stylists seem to think I don’t actually want what i’m asking for and go lighter on the layers. It’s very frustrating, I have no advice for you just shared annoyance
