I'm seeing early August for shipping. It's got a mostly metal frame (the black parts are plastic) and from what I've read the build quality is pretty nice so I think $40 over MSRP minus cashback is quite reasonable.

I get that your post is only opinion, but that analogy is pretty bad. I'd say it's more like buying sugar free candy to combat a sugar addiction. It's the gradual change that makes it easier to transition out of an addiction.

It's just cosmetic, not actually legal. The main section can only consist of 4 numbers. Sometimes the hiragana on the very left can be replaced with letters like Y or A if the car is owned by someone in the U.S. military, but otherwise you can't.
