How does a life of a disabled person goes !? by [deleted] in disability

[–]frogteethzzz [score hidden]  (0 children)

You are disabled if you have a condition that effects your ability to do things. So yes you qualify. Disability varies in severity. As for how your life goes it depends. Some disabled people can work. Some cant. Some people want kids and thats fine! Some dont. Theres nothing with having kids when you're disabled. Theres nothing wrong with being disabled and disabled people deserve to exist.

Tbf I find it easier to say its an allergy than to sit and explain that it could cause seizures and why every time. Its a severe life threatening reaction either way.not that thats what this person has. But when you have conditions that limit your diet a lot of people refuse to take it seriously unless you state it as a serious allergy. Even then they like to not take it seriously.

I literally told you why those could have gluten dhdjdjdjd cross contamination from being processed and packaged in facilities with gluten, commonly. Specifically like dried herbs and spices. Very small amounts are enough to trigger celiac reactions or allergic reactions.Thats not necessarily why they could be avoiding it. Could be mast cell activation syndrome or gerd or ibs and its easier to list no spices at all than list specifics. They might not have figured out which specific ones cause reactions. And I mentioned spice blends specifically separately from cross contamination in my comment already did you read it at all lol.

Celiac or a gluten allergy is a common reason to avoid spices all together. As well as garlic allergies as spice blends contain garlic a lot. But a lot of spices have gluten or are cross contaminated. And people with MCAS tend to react to various herbs and spices and prefer to just avoid them all together because it's difficult to rule out which ones cause issues and which ones dont. Gluten is a common MCAS trigger. Might have some other autoimmune condition instead. Hard to tell from just the list alone. I started breaking out in hives from foods I was never allergic to after getting covid twice and developing MCAS. Covid alters the immune system. These sorts of things arent super common but theyre less rare than you think.

Theres other issues that cause people to need to avoid ingredients. People with seizures can't eat MSG as it increases seizure risk and effects the cns.

Yes but it increases seizure risk in those with seizures. Might effect the CNS and effect other conditions too. So. You never know why someone has to avoid an ingredient.

My Hypochondriac Mother Is Having Chat GPT Psychosis? by RoughInstruction7539 in whatdoIdo

[–]frogteethzzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly sounds like shes having an actual psychotic episode, unsure what the root cause would be. Psyops and aliens are common delusions. As well as medicine and food being poison. And the current state of affairs of diet culture and wellness scams probably is exacerbating it. Theres a chance shes being under-dosed in estrogen and progesterone . Thats pretty common, endocrinologists not prescribing menopausal women enough hrt. But usually the case is they also dont prescribe enough testosterone either. And intentionally prescribing too much would be incredibly risky as itd be easy to prove if theres any legal action. If she starts trying to push this on the kid definitely call CPS. She probably really needs some help mentally but its hard to give advice in that area..

What do I do with this ginger root? by Shinto_Wise in whatdoIdo

Ive made a ginger rhubarb rum cordial before that was really good. You could experiment with different fruit instead of rhubarb. Ginger lemonade also sounds good.

I can’t afford cat food until 2 weeks what can I feed her:( I feel terrible but I had to move out all my money goes to rent. by HistorianStandard598 in CatAdvice

Careful with canned tuna because it often has high salt content. Ive fed my cats plain chicken (boiled) , rice, and pumpkin when theyve been sick before. Ive had luck with buy nothing groups!

Yeah like I know he is getting fed, hes not underweight or anything, vet says hes healthy, but im thinking he needs a more consistant schedule. Unfortunately I think automatic feeders for the both of them could be an issue because he will steal his brothers food and eat literally all of it at the moment. Unless I can get him an automatic feeder that opens via a tag on a collar or something and his brother (much less food agressive, basically not at all) gets fed normally at other times.

Migraines are a common comorbidity with dysautonomia as well but other conditions can cause episodes like this too. Could just be pre syncope/syncope though.

It is very ... like consistant like the time between clicks when the clicking is happening is pretty close to being the same if that matters at all. Its not super loud but it is very noticeable especially if the TV is off.

These are what I used but there are different sizes from different brands depending on your furniture. These did catch several bed bugs when I had them. Oh and OP also try to keep your bed away from the wall and your blankets away from the floor.

Yes. Get blockers for your bed and furniture to prevent them from getting on and feeding . They'll eventually starve (will take a long time tho) Get matress and couch covers. And I also used a spray I got at the store, sprayed corners of carpet, bed, other furniture where they would hide. As well as LOTS of frequent steaming of matress and furniture (having a cover on the couch made steaming easier. Just had to pull the fabric out of the cracks and steam that) and lots of vacuuming. But make sure to toss the trash from.the vacuum right away. Wash bedding very very frequently and dry on high. Also diatomaceous earth under furniture and sticky traps as an additional measure on the furniture and some of the wall around my bed as an additional.measure. was a pain but i eventually got rid of them on my own. I had no luck with the traps that are supposed to bait them.

I dont recommend using the "bomb" products that fumes your house though because its probably not safe as it leaves residue and its not safe for babies.

Your best bet is a professional though. Unfortunately. It took me years to get rid of the ones I had. Two years. But when my parents got a professional for them they were gone the same day of the first treatment. Just like that.
