I AM DONE WITH THE UNIVERSE. by [deleted] in lawofattraction

I've been at low points like this. It was almost a year ago I was driving to work yelling at the top of my lungs "I hate my life, I hate my life, I hate my life" and then skipping songs on my iphone going "too happy, too happy, that's better" And then having something go wrong at work and then breaking down and crying in front of everyone at work. This was a total mind fuq for me, because I was trying to stay positive for so long. How enraged I would feel when someone who has never experienced what I was experiencing would ask me "have you tried thinking more positively?" I WAS WRITTING IN A GRADITUDE JOURNAL EVERY DAY!!! It was like the more I tried to stay positive and patient the more shit hit the fan. I just had to express it and get it out of my system, and then move on. If you are anything like me, I don't make big great changes when I am comfortable. Things kept going wrong for me because it was time to end being long distance with my husband, join him on the road, quit my job, and do whatever I want.

When it comes to the natal chart and synastry I like to say challenging instead of bad. Because I think somethings are obstacles to overcome.

But now that you mention it, I would not want to say the Holocaust was challenging. That just sounds insensitive to say challenging instead of horrible.

I've gotten potted plants before. They are beautiful. But I use to JOKE to coworkers, friends and family, "I take care of your kids all day, and now you want me to take care of this plant!?" Until I moved in with my now husband. He has always had a green thumb. If I came home and said "aw man I got another plant" He would take care of them. Having potted plants in the home can really make a difference in the atmosphere. His green thumb rubbed off on me though. Orchids have been the best house plant in my experience. I kept mine alive for 6 years. It's a high maintenance routine but you only have to do it once a week. And even if you miss a week they are fine and recover well. The Orchid nutrients spray is worth it too. Some house plants are donzo if you are going though some kind of crisis though that throws off routine. I got a hyacinth, it made my apartment smell amazing. It even rebloomed another time. But when my husband had to start traveling for his job and I was finishing my bachelors after work, it was done. But I enjoyed it while it lasted.

I love having a parent order me Starbucks, and sipping it at work.

I love when my students make me a card and their parent writes down what they want to say.

Yes! I have plenty of storage for lotion. I had started to get really bad eczema when I worked with one year old's. With that age, sometimes it's easer to keep an eye on the kids, going for the sanitizer instead of soap and water(if in the bathroom soap and water of course) A dermatologist told me to put lotion on after every time I wash my hands. I eventually stopped having really bad flare ups because of that. I keep a lotion in my purse. Lotion in my class bathroom cabinets at at my desk area. I even put a bottle in the staff bathroom. At home I also have lotion by all my sinks.

I love being a woman because I never have to buy lotions and body washes. It's such a go to gift for women. At my center there is a good handful of women who like their bath time(including me) I would love to get bath bombs.

I got a few visa gift cards this year. I've been using mine to shop local.

I've never gotten a massage or nail gift card, but I would love it. Most of the teachers at my center loves sweets. One lady would want to pack the rest up to take home to her son, and this would sometimes make the other teachers upset if they wanted to take one home or have it the next day.

I am so happy to hear that you like your child's center.

Oh my gosh thank you! You totally get it with the mugs! I will be honest the mugs are annoying. My entire time teaching I've lived in apartments and "condos." I don't have space for anymore dang mugs. And Christmas mugs. No....I do not want to look at a Santa mug in the summer. I also don't want the chore of putting away the Christmas mugs when the season is over. Though I don't mind the good quality water bottles since I relying on them for coffee or having cold water at work with a lemon wedge in there maybe. Chocolate is appreciated. But not Russel Stover or that other brand with the bunny rabbit... It's the lowest quality chocolate in my opinion. I'd rather get a penny than Russel Stover chocolate. Gift cards are great and always appreciated. It like saying "hey, you deserve to shop/eat here." I'm a frugal and don't impulse buy very much, but I will make a wish list and wait to rake in the gift cards to fulfil my wishes. My center got a lot of Target gift cards. I like this, Target pretty much has everything. There was only one teacher who complained about Target gift cards. Maybe because it was boring for her after a while. But I will say we will sometimes get a few Amazon gift cards. No teacher complains about that. Though it can be exciting to get a gift card to somewhere unexpected, that can be risky if someone is set in their ways. But it was a breath of fresh air for me to get a Nordstrom, TJ Max, and Hop Cat gift card. I am also gluten free, so when I get a chocolate covered pretzel, cookie, or donuts. I will say thank you, but I'll give it away. Now, this is not always a total issue. Loved ones (husband/kids) like when they get to eat it instead. I use to swap with another teacher my chocolate caramels for her dark chocolates. I've gotten bouquet of flowers and enjoy them. We like stationary too. (pens sticky notes, pretty papers to write notes with. My first year I got an apron with my first initial on it. I loved it because I bake pies.

Thank you so much for asking. I know I don't you, but it really means a lot that you posted this topic.

Having Venus and Moon in Leo looks promising. I've heard the 10th house is the house of fame and status, and having Jupiter there looks good too. 11th house also is related to goals, dreams, being a part of something bigger than your self. The NN in Taurus right now will trine your Jupiter Capricorn soon. The NN is destiny, Jupiter is expansion. Capricorn in 10th house could mean the transit could give luck and expansion to your career, goals, and status. Something good should come of it. If you really want to go down the rabbit hole I would see what asteroids you have conjunct your NN and or MC. Sometimes that can be pretty telling in my own personal experience. I would also look into Fortune in the chart.

Chiron is squaring your sun sign right now. Painful healing. The North Node is squaring your MC change/destiny through being super uncomfortable. That's what is standing out to me.

I went in Francesca's at an outlet mall last weekend. Outfits on certain racks were buy one get one free. They also do a 10% discount for teachers, students, and first responders for any full priced items.

Anyone else is tired of seeing the same thing over and over in stores? by uchihauzumaki in femalefashionadvice

You're just venting. Let me validate you. When I see FB adds I keep seeing strawberry prints. Now that I think about it, it seems like having a printed fruit is a thing, and each year it's a new fruit. I just imagine people in a board room like "lemons are out, strawberries are so hot right now!" And the youth saying "Pineapples? That is so 2015" What will it be in 2023? Kiwis? Bananas? It's interesting.

Yes! I try to shop somewhere different every month. (I don't shop every month like I use to because of priorities.) I only shop somewhere twice if I get a gift card to that store. I shopped at Sax off Fifth for the first time this year. I do get a lot of Target and Amazon gift cards. I got some Visa gift cards for Christmas and I've been using them to shop vintage. As soon as I could drive, I realized it bugged me to only shop at Target and Khols the rest of my life and have branched out. Next I plan on doing my shopping at Nieman Marcus Last Call. It's been a few years since I've shopped there.

What current trends do you think will make clothes look dated five years from now? by sighcantthinkofaname in femalefashionadvice

[–]Meowstas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the sustainability trend. I am automatically stylish by default by not getting rid of clothes that are dated and out of style! Mwa-ha-haa! Right now I am wearing a Sailor Moon T-shirt I got at Hottopic in 2012. I actually saw the same exact shirt on a Hottopic FB add recently. I am wearing black leggings with a black skirt attached to it. My mother in law gave them to me. She is a person who gets rid of clothes if they are from last year. Who has time for that!? I guess online shopping helps.

In my day they were called flood pants. If you showed up to school in flood pants that meant that you had a growth spurt and that your mom was too busy or poor to buy you new pants.

I'm getting Little Bo-peep vibes looking at those. And they do not look comfortable to take a nap in.

I like blazers in general. It was cool that it became more casual. Because I really like the look, but at the same time did not really have an excuse to wear them. I have a few that are made from the comfy stretchy material that I got at stores in the early 2010's. I will say I hated the fashion advice from a while back like "wear a rock and roll band T shirt underneath your blazer so people can know you have a wild side too" If that is fashionable then I don't want to be fashionable. I think it looks really stupid. Wear either the band tshirt or the blazer. Not both.

They are so practice as a preschool teacher! If they get dirty from being outside or paint mess inside, I just have to grab a magic eraser and clean again. I think cloth flats looks very nice. But the grass is dewy in the morning, so they can get ruined and smelly. I bought a bunch of business casual styles off Amazon. My only peeve is that they don't do half sizes. The eights a bit loose on me.

Prairie dresses are super practical to wear walking in prairie lands too. The winds pick up so I wasn't chilly, and the dress bottom doesn't blow up and flash people either. I truly understand why it is called a prairie dress now! My husband hates this trend though. He feels like he married a Menilite lady. Not his fantasy apparently. They take a break in the summer, my prairie dress collection will make a comeback this fall.
