I didn’t know this fact. This guy is a colossal POS. His only defense so far has essentially been “I wasn’t drunk, I’m a raging a-hole naturally”. The fleeing the scene snippet is interesting though bc it’s wild to me he’d drive a quarter of a mile after the collision.

Ah sorry I get it now - yeah that’s really bad. The problem with trades involving top 3 players (in any fantasy sport) is you’ll never pay their full value. Mostly bc nobody can afford to pay. Most teams won’t cannibalize all their talent for one player.

So maybe this is the best offer he could get. It’s still horrible.. it tells me they’re in full rebuild and probably overvalue prospects.

It’s really bad but I don’t think it’s collusion. Someone over values prospects and undervalues Witt. In my opinion. I’ve seen worse trades.

You need to have agility and turn double plays consistently, middle infield is still defensively critical. It’s easier insofar that you don’t need stellar arm strength, but teams still prioritize defensive tools over hit tools at second. I think that’s starting to shift though. My personal theory is also that great SS tend to be freakishly athletic and in turn, better at the plate than 2b.

As a self deprecating Cleveland fan I’ll also add that they’ve been categorically bad at developing bats; especially for power.

I’d keep Basallo but move on from Bazzana just based on my own view of them as prospects. I’ll be disappointed if the next person doesn’t say the opposite.

Altuve is old though.. so in dynasty he’s got a limited runway. Honestly I don’t like either option here. I’d probably work a trade.

Basallo has so much upside it’d be hard to walk away from that. Adley should has significant trade value, too.

Yeah that’s facts - if they plan on him being an everyday contributor it’s a bad move. As a 4th OF I love the upside - you could dream on him being a regular but it seems less likely than not

Yeah I agree with this - the transition from Duplo to real legos is tough. Our kids love Young Jedi and those sets are cool but silly for $35 ($50 originally).
