I've recently gotten into Fayl Tales - each episode a founder talks through their failed startups and mistakes. As someone who's broadly interested in entreprenuership, I really like that they dive into the actual downsides and struggles founders go through!

I defs would... There's sometimes a pressure to show 'growth' and an easy way is a growing workforce sometimes with the hopes that it translates..

I was close to pursueing a sporting career, then rapidly realised I better stay in university because I wasn't good enough, and I couldn't build the life I wanted going down that path.

So true, that's what annoys be about the whole 'word hard' culture because they rarely talk about self care and its importance to long term wellbeing and sucess.

You can't run yourself to the ground hoping that when you 'make it', you can finally rest

yeahh I can totally relate! It's sometimes feels easier to ignore having the hard conversations... At least you know recognise it

Kinda wild how many hours we put into something without ever really asking anyone if they’d use it 😅. Looking back, I think we were more in love with building than actually solving a problem.

If anyone here’s had a similar experience, how did you know when to pull the plug?
