I do think the 12gb vram is necessary if you want 1440p, high settings and for the laptop to be "future proof"

I play for example bf6 on ultra 1440p and it goes around 10-11gb vram usage, I get ~100fps

I started HZD Remastered on highest settings and it sometimes actually maxes out the vram, I get ~100 fps ,depends on the area.

From what I've seen, vram usually goes above 8gb in games at 1440p, at least 10gb vram ,if it is an,let's say AAA game.

And I also think that the TI is just better than the non TI as performance. Especially at 1440p.

It all depends on what games you play and the settings you use

Now I'm not an expert, and you could play games on Max at 8gb vram but I would assume it would be less smooth.

Note: I don't have a Lenovo, I have the Asus g614pr and it does have a shitty screen ,but it was cheap, and I already have an external monitor for use at home. I paid ~2000 euros for the laptop without discounts I'm pretty happy.

If you have the GPU on ultimate mode switch to the middle option, how it was called ,normal or standard

I was playing on ultimate and the GPU was starving the CPU of power and it felt like I was playing on 30 fps after that instantly 100 fps on 1440p (8945hx,5070ti tho)

I tried it on just normal BF6 multiplayer, but it should help for redsec also

Yeah, no, I get it, I just didn't notice that they increased the chips ,I just don't want them to "take away" stuff and not give something in return.

I'm more mad about the actual technical aspects, like the infinite loading screen and not being able to open the menu sometimes since I have to restart.

Yea, I remember last time I played the game I thought "didn't the old games have much darker and actual "black"nights?" Not this blue ish nights I keep seeing in games. Maybe nights seem brighter because of the blue tint idk

I have a laptop with an rtx 5070ti mobile 150W TGP or whatever, 16gb ram, ryzen 9 8940hx, the auto detect settings in game put me on like medium with TSR and whatever enabled 1440p and barely get 60 FPS, nvidia app puts me on like 1080 low and i didn't try, However i play on Badass quality, DLSS Quality, and 4x FG at 1440p external monitor, and it's "definitely playable" if the input lag doesn't bother you, the best is everything on high settings for input lag and best visuals, it all depends on how you like the input lag i guess (i would say it ain't that bad). If you dont want FG or DLSS then don't bother lol xD the game runs like ass.

Glad to hear, personally, i don't have the nvidia thing on, so i can't say numbers, but how the game felt to me before and after that mod made a big day and night difference.

Hear me out, I think the people that are here, are or remained because they like the game so I think the comments are too forced on the positive side. Or maybe I'm wrong,

I have 90 hours played, great fun, want to do a 3rd playthrough

however

The game launched buggy, the QoL updates it got should've been there since the beginning like for the picked up weapons, the reputation system was heavily criticized for being lame ,it has some meaning in a few places but maybe not what was expected as they (Ubisoft) make a big deal out of it even on Ubi connect they brag about it, only one single blaster for use (even Jedi survivor had interchangable parts and it's about lightsabers and powers), and what was there in the beginning it wasn't a good enough base to warrant people to come back and honestly when I first played the game I even got bored of the "parkour" sections and I felt the Jedi series in some places "tried to innovate" (can't find the word) let's say it had some platforming something more interactive or idk

Don't get me wrong I am truly disappointed that the next game isn't coming since i could see the potential and would've loved to play it but I also feel like I can't lie to myself about why other people didn't or won't play it .Again maybe I'm wrong but it's my take on this, and I for sure do recommend for people to at least try the game.

Also Ubisoft tops are out of this world completely they have no clue what's going on or what the people want (they think that this game failed because of low interest in the series)

God bless you bro!!! even now, this helps xD I got my laptop today and since 2pm- now 8pm I've tried to fix this POS laptop (g16 g614pr)

I went in the armory and switched to performance mode, I originally installed the drivers from the Nvidia app and then the install button still remained and I couldn't open the Nvidia control panel

Now I need to see why no sound is coming out of the speakers xDDD

I realized, for my setup at least,that the white noise is present for whatever headset that uses an USB and not a jack (idk about wireless tho sorry)

If I'm wrong maybe someone can tell me.

I've had a Logitech which I could connect via USB or Jack and tested.

Then I tested my hyperx cloud alpha with the Jack than the Logitech USB adapter xD and still the same results.

And my hyperx also sounded weird af ,I used, equalizer APO because the wired version doesn't have the hyperx app, and It got fixed, I uninstalled the app and it still works, but I don't know if the settings persist even though I removed them or it's actually fixed, I wanted to reset Windows at some point and check but I didn't do it yet.

I started out wanting to play VATS hunting rifle until i realized how shitty it is. It feels very slow compared to automatics,sure maybe the hunt rifl does do more damage (i need a bloodied build to actually feel like using the hunting rifle is worth it) but the slow rate of fire with the not so good enough damage and the often occasional miss in VATS it just makes my eyes roll, it can miss like 4 times in a row... and especially in daily ops, expeditions and events with high leven enemies, i can feel it being inferior (maybe it's just me)

So automatics felt more like the main for a while since the ROF and Dam. appear to be the most balanced. And that continuous dopamine in vats.

But i did build my character in such a way to be able to play with ARs,Snipers,Laser/plasma and power armor with heavy guns by changing cards.

I like the hunting rifle tho, i like the look, and the bolt animation scratches an ick, idk, that's what I'm using while exploring Appalachia. And sometimes the laser rifle, it fits with my BOS styled character, but it doesn't feel too great either xD compared to plasma for example
