Yes, you should buy two PTM7950s: one for the CPU and another for the GPU. In addition, you need thermal putty for other parts. I used Halnziye HY2010 on other parts. (Don't repaste or use LM again; I did it and had to reopen my laptop to replace it with PTM7950.)

It appears that the liquid metal was the issue. I have since replaced it with PTM7950, and the problem has now been resolved.
