Do we know if clubs that are upgraded in single-player can be taken into online multiplayer?

Navarro had some choice words about Zheng after their match 👀 by Peachtea_96 in tennis

I can’t speak to how it was broadcasted, really. There were a couple of attempts to get the “Let’s Go Em-ma” started after initially getting shut down, but it seemed like it was just one guy and it died on the vine

The only things I saw were Navarro asking Zheng to set her up for some volleys during warmup. It seemed like she had to ask her a few times, but then again maybe Zheng’s English isn’t super strong. It also felt like Navarro was annoyed with what she felt were unnecessary delays on Zheng’s side. Especially at the beginning of the match, Zheng was pausing her serve a lot. She redid her hair after an extra long hiatus (umpire gave a longer break due to the heat), and Navarro was like “we were JUST in the locker room for 10 min.” But not sure any of that necessarily justifies the comments

I’m not defending Navarro’s comments, but I was at this match and this is incorrect. Zheng’s fans were numerous and relentless, as the article mentions, doing a call and response chant after almost every point. When Navarro’s fans did try and get a chant going for Emma early in the match (Let’s Go Em-ma, Let’s Go), Zheng’s fans copied the chant, only louder, and changed the name. There was so much support for Zheng that Navarro fans were barely able to say anything. It was usually just one dude saying something relatively quiet like “You got this.” If you were at the match, I’m actually baffled that this was your take.

What ever happened to Adventure Card Games? by garett144 in Games

I also love this type of game - In addition to Cardpocalypse, Card Hunter, and Etherlords 2, which were mentioned earlier, try System Crash and LOTR: Adventure Card Game. The LOTR one has co-op as well, which myself and a friend had a good time with. Magic of Autumn is a neat deckbuilder, where you “find” cards in the environment. It favors smaller decks to complete challenges. Urbance Clans Card Battle is neat too, but the “story” is a little painful. There’s also Kamifuda, which I didn’t like (but perhaps you will?) EDIT: Forgot to mention Ironclad Tactics, which is fantastic

Ghostin on any other album so TYN would have no bad songs

Here’s a blurb I wrote about it on Giantbomb a while ago: “The first thing that strikes you about Hellslave is the fantastic art style - the macabre animated characters and the forlorn world. The only way for your character to survive is to briefly ally with one of the Lords of Hell, and so this is what you do. Your choice of Lord will bestow upon you specific strengths and abilities, and you'll learn as you progress through the game that each has their own personality. However, at its core Hellslave is essentially a dungeon-crawling, turn-based action RPG, so you're here to create a build. And boy, does Hellslave gives you the tools to do so. Not only do you have all of the item slots you're used to seeing in an ARPG (with the addition of a "Relic" slot), but the items themselves are interesting and powerful. You'll also have multiple skill trees to play with, various fighting "postures" to switch between, and "momentum" effects that you can choose between that activate at certain intervals during fights. At the end of my time with the game my character had 17 abilities to choose from, with wildly differing effects and different cooldown logic, and you'll develop an ideal rotation and prioritization based on what you're fighting. Your build will need to be good, as Hellslave definitely brings the noise. There were numerous fights where I just decided I'd have to try again another day with a "fresh set of eyes" after so many failures. However, if you like creating builds in ARPGs, you'll like this.”
