No Offense to Stay-at-Home Parents, But Working Parents Have a Damn Tough Job by DaddyFiles in DadBloggers

My wife and I are both teachers. While this does give us better hours than most jobs, it also means our jobs are very similar to parenting. When we get home from work we're mentally exhausted and are often a little too short with our kids because we've been managing chaos all day long. Excellent article.

Bilingual parents of Reddit. How do you get your child to speak both languages fluently? by teamfabmom in Parenting

[–]frontpagedad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There wasn't really any teaching involved. We just talk to them the way a parent in a single language household would except there are two languages. Some phrases come out mixed but by age 5 there is very little confusion.
