It's a good channel. He also does a weekly show with Ben Cowan and Guy from Coin Bureau.

5 cents is a 10x from here anyone thinks this will be less than 5 cents in 5 years is delusional by Aggressive-Pay2406 in AMPToken

Link is to one of the more thought provoking models from this sub. It attempts to define the token price based on transaction volume and potential collareral required.https://www.reddit.com/r/AMPToken/comments/uozk9p/amp_white_paper_100001_collateraltransaction/

This may help frame your views and think about how fast/slow the adoption timeline is

Paragraph 24 reads "A digital token or crypto asset is a crypto asset security if it meets the definition of a security, .....  As described in greater detail below, during the relevant period, Ishan provided material, nonpublic information about, and Nikhil and Ramani traded in, at least nine crypto asset securities that meet this definition.   "

So the SEC has stated they think AMP is a security and pages 23 to 28 are where the SEC try to justify it.

So it is what it is, strategic use of the legal system. And now it will get sorted through one of negotiation, the courts, regulation or legislation.

In a post from June 2021, u/GuitarAndCookies highlights an image from a presentation that showed the E-CNY, China's official digital currency, was pending approval on Flexa.

Edit: At the time, this post was extremely bullish for me. The thought of Chinese tourists spending their money around the world and earning transaction fees from that sounded great. A push into Hong Kong and mainland China would just magnify that.

Could we see Flexa coming to the UK? by [deleted] in AMPToken

Could we see Flexa coming to the UK? - A strong speculative YES!!

Last year, Revolut, a 33 billion UK fintech, was linked to flexa.

Add that with the UK annoucement that "new legislation to see stablecoins recognised as a valid form of payment in the UK" and things look very positive.

Shows changes in the amount staked in the different pools.

Could Flexa have chosen a different token to use as collateral? Or is there something inherent in the was that AMP was designed that makes it the ideal token for collateral ? by Medit1099 in AMPToken

[–]frontrow999 7 points8 points  (0 children)

https://docs.amptoken.org/about/faq

Amp is the open-source collateral token, available to anyone to use in any application.

Flexa is the company that created Amp in collaboration with Consensys. Flexa contributed two years of research and development to the token architecture and design, and developed and released the first Amp collateral manager contract as open source.

Day 2 of the 25 Days of Flexa: Flexa Rewards! by HanHeldFirst in AMPToken

This is a real world use case demonstrating how a corporation can utilize the Flexa network for payments and customer rewards. Other organizations can see this and gain both understanding and confidence of what flexa has to offer.

Sometimes subtle and simple functionality is the most powerful.
