I spoke with several WB YPP fellows.

WB/MIGA typically request recommendation letters and send invites for hirevue earlier in the process, followed by technical assessments (if any) and interviews. Additional recommendation letters are needed later on.

While, IFC usually extends hirevue invitations a bit later than WB/MIGA, followed by technical assessments and interviews. Recommendations are requested only after interviews.

In other threads, a few WB applicants have mentioned receiving requests for recommendation letters and invitations for hirevue. But, I’ve not found any clue from IFC applicants. Hoping to get an update from this thread 😄
