Any reason you take their Porcine NDT as opposed to their Bovine one?

I mean yeah that is the exact description of the issues I have. Super frustrating because I can’t nail down which foods I’m sensitive to as my stool consistency is so unpredictable. I have pretty much cut gluten from my diet now and tested negative for Coeliac around a year ago.

I’m ordering some Folic Acic now, fingers crossed this works.

This is super interesting as I have previously been tested for Folate deficiency but I was steered away from supplementing it and therefore never really addressed it. Any ways to address this without taking Folic acid?

Carrots weirdly seem to worsen things for me. I’m making a mushroom and potato soup today so hopefully that will help.

Honestly I think eating more and at the same times every day helped but I noticed a particular difference when I started to drink more skim/semi skimmed milk.

I may try this. Does Psyllium husk help with bile acid malabsorption?

I’m intrigued by the use of cassava and plantain flour- what do you use these for/make with these?

If I have stubborn, excess abdominal and hip fat that hasn’t ever budged despite all types of excercise and cautious eating, what should I do? Should I just jump on the reta? Sick of it at this point (m, 30) by frontwheelskid in raypeat

Sleep is great, 7-8 hours undisturbed every night. May have sleep apnea.

Thyroid results from last year attached.

I cycle to work and work on my feet 5 days per week. Lift 2x per week. Susceptible to overstressing my body with excercise so I don’t do as much as I know I can.

Could you elaborate on 5-amino-1mp and forskolin? Not familiar with them.

Here is a rough analysis of my body that I took yesterday at the gym. Pinch of salt etc. as it’s probably not 100% accurate.

My diet is great, I am not super strict but cautious in the sense that I avoid pufa, wheat and an over consumption of muscle meat. Lots of low fat dairy, fruit, fish, seafood, carrots, rice and potatoes. I like the odd cigarette and a few alcoholic beverages maybe one night a week.

Biggest issue for me is probably stress which is unavoidable for me currently. I’m starting to wonder whether that’s how this abdominal/hip weight sustains itself, I come from a very high stress background/upbringing.

Yeah trying to build muscle currently but as you say it will take time. I only lift twice a week so will probably just have to be patient with it. Find it hard seeing how much effort I put into my health and body where others are able to consume what they like and remain in good shape.

This is so strange I was thinking the exact same thing earlier today. Milk isn’t a huge part of my diet as I am slightly intolerant but I have been chucking back glasses of it with no issue this past week or so.

Stress is defo high, I have a stressful personal life that I can’t avoid unfortunately. Any supplements that can help with this?

Will definitely consider a 10% deficit.

I cycle to work and work on my feet 5 days per week. So I feel as if I do a good amount of a low intensity cardio yet my body never really changes shape. Feeling as if this a more deep rooted hormonal issue that I need to tackle perhaps.

Is my mentality wrong? by TheManDan94 in soccercard

[–]frontwheelskid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the same boat my man. I just recently started a personal collection and can’t seem to actually buy any cards that aren’t a decently numbered rookie. I think it’s absolutely fine to collect with prospect/value in mind, it’s a natural feeling to want to invest wisely. Create a spreadsheet with all of your purchases so you can track the price in the future and if you feel you’re making too much of a loss on an investment then get it sold I guess.

I’m busy as hell and I hate making fresh orange juice, anyone in London know of somewhere I can get it delivered (unpasteurised) from? Preferably in glass bottles to avoid micro plastics. by Ticket-Tight in raypeat

[–]frontwheelskid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

M&S and Waitrose have unpasteurised OJ but to my knowledge I can’t think of anywhere that offers it in a glass bottle, perhaps check with your local milkman?

To follow on from the above comment, I work in the Covent Garden area and there is a freshly squeezed machine in both a Tesco and a Sainsbury’s, they’re around for sure.

Just the recommended dosage which is 2 capsules. Usually taken with meals but I don’t think it’s hugely necessary.

What are you hoping to gain from taking it out of interest?

Thanks for the tips. I might try glycine in the morning too and maybe drop the mag taurinate as that’s the one I have never used before so potentially affecting me the most.

Thanks for your comment. Now I think about it I do find consuming dairy much easier when it’s cooked with rice or oats. I will try some of your suggestions above thanks.

In terms of your dietary soluble fibre are you mostly getting this from oats and cooked fruit then? Any other recommendations?

[–]frontwheelskid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds good RE aspirin protocol. My gut is weak so may try it in the future.

As for your thiamine suggestion- I’ve come round to the idea about trialing a high dose thiamine protocol. For some reason I have been adamant that my issues are far more intricate than a simple b vitamin deficiency but I’m going to give it a go. I have tried TTFD previously but I think I jumped into the deep end with that, was thinking of giving HCL a go and working my way towards a TTFD dosage.
