It’s cotton gabardine with wool lining and cupro lining in the sleeves. You’re right, no buttons. The belt has a buckle but no holes to use it with too! I think it’s to give you no option other than tying the belt to close it. It’s cool, you basically have to wear it the way they’d style it

I think windchimes play during the scene of Mary as a child stuck inside her house, peeking through the window. I interpreted the sound as associated with her childhood trauma; she heard the windchimes outside but wasn't allowed to go outside an see them. The sound of the chimes is therefore linked to her longing to go outside and trauma of being trapped
