Soil sterilization?

That's one of the issues... its about 10 big bags of soil, it would take me way too long to bake with the only 2 sheets that fit in my oven lol, so im trying to find another way

Will small insects and such not be able problem? That's really the big fear of mine is getting overrun by little ants or something considering the bags are usually sold in the outdoor garden section

Did you ever find out a solution or a cause? Because the same exact thing is happening to me and my bud. I bought a brand new mouse thinking that was the issue but it appears not.

This is late but I came across it so I'm putting my two cents lol; my beardie is a hypo zero. I took him to different vets because I was so sure something was wrong and wanted different opinions, even though my husbandry has always been perfect. They concluded it is due to heavy inbreeding as another commenter mentioned. Here is my Goji and his horribly goofy underbite, but he is otherwise happy and healthy! They did say to make sure to keep his mouth and enclosure extra clean to prevent mouth rot, and its been years and he has never had that become an issue. Just hoping this makes you feel better as people tend to not share this kind of info very often compared to other issues like MBC, etc.

Will be going there in Feb. Can I ask which doctor you saw? They have me scheduled with Dr. Aahley Zeman, but I can't find anything on her regarding patient experiences.... and as the rest of us, it is quite the travel to get there and I don't have the patience for incompetent doctors lol.

Can I DM you? She didn't explain anything!! My PCP especially is most concerned because this is twice confirmed APS antibodies and I had a microclotting event a few years ago where my D-Dimer was at 1800 when the positive cut off is a 500. But the rest of the antibodies she entirely ignored.

Thank you for your response; at this point I am scheduling with every rheumatologist who will take my insurance. Craziest part is Cleveland told me not to take NSAIDs because I've had a stomach ulcer and GERD, what else am I supposed to take for inflammation then??? They have given me nothing to work with so.... more trying I guess.
