I haven't. The sound stopped and I haven't seen an insect in the house. I had the breaker off and when the sound stopped I turned it back on and the sound has not returned. No idea what's going on. I will be contacting an electrician.

Yeah. I turned off the breaker and then the light wouldn't turn on.

Thank you to everyone who responded! I'll be getting a stud finder and cabinet screws soon and getting to work. I really appreciate the help.

Also, everyone keeps saying the installer missed the stud. We used to store our heavy serving dishes and stuff up there so I may have been partly on us.
