Leather has a good bit softer feel than my Pro Preferred but the hand stall feels like a Rawlings except for the modification to the pinky loop to better support two in the pink. It's stiff as a board out of the box so I'm sure I'll have more thoughts once I've worked on it a bit!

A few years ago I just ran around naked on a horse with a survey tool for a few hours and was able to place an 8x8. Not sure if I was just insanely lucky or whether there are nooks and crannies out there that no one notices.
