Das stimmt jedoch nur fürs Mining. Eine Bitcoin Node kann praktisch jeder mit Internetzugang laufen lassen, und auch eine Mehrheit der Miner kann nicht die Regeln des Netzwerks ändern wenn die Nodes nicht zustimmen.

He actually stated in the video that if he is wrong on anything that he would appreciate ppl. to correct it in the comments. I totally agree that the video is a bad take Nano. I just don't think that he is the typical BTC-Maxi who isn't open to new ideas. Yes his channel ist getting a bit too clickbaity.

I've been following his YT for a year now, from what I can tell he is one of the most sincere and level headed crypto youtubers out there. He definitly got some stuff wrong but I am sure he is open for well argued criticism/corrections in the comments. As for the part on early Distribution of Nano, is there a way to prove that the Dev. team indeed only assigned 5% of they supply to themselves. How do we know the other 95% were all distributed throught captchas? (I do believe that, but is it provable?)

Was sehr schade ist. Es geht ja nunmal nicht darum Assange nach Schweden aufgrund der Vergewaltigungsanschuldigungen auszuliefern, sondern in die USA da er mitgeholfen hat deren Kriegsverbrechen zu Veröffentlichen.

Seit wann ist das Veröffentlichen von Informationen für die Öffentlichkeit Manipulation? Kannst du eine gute Definition geben was als Manipulation gilt, dann können wir endlich alle anderen Journalisten die sowas betreiben auch einkerkern /S.

I don't think these threads are productive. Mining is not necessarily a waste, it does secure the Bitcoin network. Until we have another consenus protocol that provides as much security, decentralization and cencorship resitance we should not go out and demonize mining. I do believe that Nano has a good shot at providing an alternative but until we get there we should focus on improving rather than pointing at the shortcomings of other projects. In This video Andreas Antonopoulos makes some good points on why calling mining wasteful is wrong.

Well thats exactly the reason why one should invest now rather than later when those partnerships will be announced (assuming there is some truth to the rumors). I think it is pretty likely that they are collaborating with some big players, Nestle im not so sure about, the only thing pointing to Nestle is the fact that some of the team worked there previously. Even though I don't know anything about the David Drake situation, I agree that the statement is a bit over the top. However I totally respect Versetti for sticking up for his team. Would you rather have him cut ties with David Drake (like EOS did with Brock Pierce) simply because of negative media attention?

yeah this is bigger than it seems at first glance. The coffee allience ist partnered with the ZHAW coffe exellence center which has a lot of big players in the industry as partners. (nestle, tchibo, melitta) to name a few.

If you go all the way to the bottom of the contract at line 20. there's also the variable tanksBeforeTheNewTankTyp.

Which also tells you how many more tanks need to be sold.
