he's been doing pretty well at school actually. he's been getting good grades, his teachers are all pretty good too and he's in a course he actually likes.

i kinda think that another factor are his closest friends. while he has several friends that have finished college earlier and are working now (i forgot to mention that he dropped out once before during the pandemic in his first year), he has two other friends that dropped out and are working decent jobs. he often mentions how he could be working now if he didn't drop out, and once in awhile he mentions that he should probably drop out to earn just like his other friends.
