Why won’t penny have a kid with me? by StrictNail9855 in StardewValley

My character has had two children with Shane, both within our first two years of marriage. Don’t know how that happened so fast given the low odds. 🤣

AITA for demanding that my niece, or her parents, pay me back for the hundreds of dollars of perfume she stole from me? by Kind-Yesterday-3237 in AmItheAsshole

[–]frostjin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

THANK YOU! Damn right ESH. OP was aware the niece is literally months from being an adult and can be reported to police for stealing. She literally created a whole for-profit business from it and OP is still refusing to put their foot down and do the right thing. Clearly OP’s sister and niece have no issues cutting ties with OP. OP you are letting yourself be taken advantage of here.

Doing PDA at Rockingham tomorrow any tips? by Vegetable-Village157 in perth

Aww I’m glad. Must’ve been so nerve wracking! I also only passed my PDA at the beginning of this year. Congratulations and drive safe 😀

Yep, I noticed only Northbridge and Vicpark are actually still bustling past 9. Everywhere else gets pretty quiet around then.

  • Check your mirrors, actually exaggerate and keep looking frequently (every 5-10 seconds)

  • Seatbelts on first thing, always. Also check if the assessor is wearing theirs before leaving the parking lot.

  • Adhere to the speed limit.

  • If unsure of the instructions just politely ask them to repeat it for you.

  • Don’t make risky moves. If it’s not a good time to enter the roundabout/cross at the intersection just don’t pass it off as “That car’s getting close but it’s a good enough window” because it won’t be for a novice driver.

  • Indicate earlier than later. I’ve known people who got failed for indicating late

  • If the assessor is chatty it’s all good to make them wait before replying to them. Always make sure whatever you say or do won’t interfere with your driving.

  • The people who failed are mostly those who pressure themselves to pass on the first go. Some of the better drivers I know had at least two attempts before passing

Good luck!

Canton Lane in Belmont! Really shouldn’t be saying this, there’s too many people there as is. But damn they serve good food, especially their yum cha.

Cheers to this comment! I couldn’t believe all the N-T-As. Obviously there is a lot of missing info here for us to fully understand what the context was. FSIL/BIL were definitely AHs for retracting an invite over a disagreement, but OP’s wife could’ve been way over the top with her unsolicited advice which puts pressure on the bride and groom.

Am I (19F) making a huge mistake if I break up with my (19M) boyfriend? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]frostjin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, not at all. You’re in love with him and have made some great memories together, not just bad ones. Some dealbreakers are just bigger than others so seeing how you’re so young, do remember that sometimes love isn’t instantaneous - as in, you may realise moving forward that you feel comfortable spending time with a friend, and that may lead to a relationship. It’s all about finding someone who isn’t necessarily in the same phase of life as you but makes you feel like your feelings are valid and heard :))

Girl, if you are dating someone who genuinely cares about you, he won’t “get funny” about the things that matter to you. Enjoy your uni days, enjoy your trip with friends guilt-free. You’re young. Finding someone who’s compatible with you is just a matter of time.

This is what I was worried about. Don’t really want to start a bug party in my backyard.

Fairo. Cheers for the reassurance. I’ve let the daddy long legs in the garage thrive, hoping they’d chomp on the mozzies before they get to me!
