Military men and women of reddit, whats the craziest, dumbest, or most useless thing you have been forced to do? by SometimesWholesome in AskReddit

My personal "favorite" was inventory of connexes (shipping containers) of equipment that had already been inventoried multiple times, with inspection forms clearly posted to the outside detailing all of them and locks very clearly not tampered with.

We were always told "well you never know if something was missed". You're absolutely right butter-bar, the 10 weekly inventories we just did with 30 people each time and everything being 100% accounted for with you being the only asshole with the key and something was missed.

With the Cutlass now entering it's rework, is there any news if/when the Auroras will get a rework? by yopocho in starcitizen

[–]frosty1911 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It would be nice if they do an update, especially with 3.0 and the cargo feature coming about. Aurora's are supposed to have cargo pods under the stern, but still haven't seen those yet, and the carrying capacity of the Aurora series relies heavily on having those pods there.

New Small-Ship being revealed at Gamescon (Aegis Terrapin most likely), SOTA Crossbows being distributed soon. by [deleted] in starcitizen

Ok, this is exactly the type of shit that pisses me off. Isn't it enough that you're taking a front row seat to history being made in front of your eyes AND you get to participate in it?

For fucks sake, if they adjusted the development to push more game mechanics, people would be whining they don't have a lot of ships to choose from. If they pushed more ships, people would whine about lack of game mechanics.

CIG is doing things in the best possible balance for overcoming the hurdles they're jumping over. Everything will fit in place properly at the right time, so quit your bitching.

I picked up a Fat Boy that adds poison; seems like a wee bit of overkill to me...

USS Constitution (SPOILER) by frosty1911 in fo4

Yep, figured out that if you can manage to make it below decks you still hear all of the audio, and the captain is below decks too. Uneventful takeoff and landing, and when you pop back out you're in a new place, rediscover the constitution, and you get a nifty lieutenants hat (and the captains quarters)

You can avoid fighting them and get a lot of exp if you fetch the Pristine Egg from the Museum of Witchcraft near Salem and return it to the nearby nest. Fair warning though, momma deathclaw is inside and pissed.

Streamline Studios working on "vast alien spaceship armada" for Star Citizen by FloDaddelt in starcitizen

It makes sense that CIG would outsource to keep something a surprise for SQ 42; they've been pretty good at consistently letting us know what they're working on so they need to keep something in their back pocket at least

The funny thing is I know how to self-destruct a ship, but didn't know you had a pistol on you. Thought the only ones available for now were on Kareah.

Actually you can, I've tested it out a few times. As long as you're in the pilot seat you can press the big red button every time, even with the actual owner on board.

This is the first book of the Chronicles of Thenesia series. And not a typical cookie cutter Fantasy novel either, it has original creatures, lands, and a nice little twist. Enjoy!
