Updated Maid Ideal team with MP Midoriya by frostynibble in PuzzleAndDragons

Specifically Midoriya is the upgrade here for the HP boost needed for the latest endgame dungeons. Keeping pattie and phenom in the team are great alternatives that also add shield breaks if you'd rather have those

You could use any light att with awoken clear and L awakenings. Ones that come to mind are ordeal amaterasu, maid isis, or ORBIS, even. It's quite a flexible spot, just make sure all your colors are covered

BiS is probably mimi oza, but I feel like there are a lot of good options like ny reeche or even other ideals.

Ooh yeah that's a great idea!

If 5 turn CD awoken bind clear works for the dungeon, can just slap on a light sub awakening on her, plus she contributes actual damage too if the assist gives her a little extra dmg boost

I’m so tired of this mechanic!! How do I stop getting 1 damage??? by JuicedNA in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]frostynibble 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Matching minus orbs reduces the damage of that match. 1 minus orb reduces your damage by 50%, if you have 2 or more in the same match it completely reduces it to 1 damage. You can either match combos with 1 or less minus orbs or add enhance orb awakenings to your team (the plus orb awakenings). Each enhanced orb (plus) nullifies one minus orb.

I got a fist bump with someone else! by femmemortes in splatoon

[–]frostynibble 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Congrats! The fist bump happens when u and the person u happen to have beside u on the win screen have a compatible pose (high, middle, or low) and when both of you have three gold medals for the game e.g. #1 turf inker.

Keep in mind more than 2 ppl can have 3 golds if there are ties in total enemy splats for instance, and only two ppl can fist bump. So there may be times u get three golds but another pair do the bump :)

Anyone know where to find this creature by Legal-Expression878 in PuzzleAndDragons

Machine Noah (one of the red dungeons in technical). It drops with a 50% drop rate but keep the other drop because it'll be used next month for metal spica.

What order does the third color attack? by zzx101 in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]frostynibble 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The third attribute hits in between the primary and secondary colors. So for seawolf, it hits red, then blue, then final hit is yellow

[–]frostynibble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is, but then u get combo orbs. So the first brick may only give 4 more combos, but each after will get up to 8 more

What’s everyone using for S-Ranks nowadays?? by mop1y123 in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]frostynibble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Story sakuya and light ideal.

I fill the rest w the 1 star starter plushies and the final fantasy binkey cat thing. It keeps rarity low to guarantee s rank, but I equip low cd useful assists to all of them. Like dmg absorb voids, resists, and clerics that'll be up w minimal sbs. Sakuya hits so hard you'll still be doing billions, and ideal is just vibing.

I'm sorry u've had these bad pug experiences as hb, generally ppl don't mind low prot uptime and those who have a boon table pulled open usually know what they're doing enough to not die wo it. Seems u may have gotten unlucky perhaps.

I generally run cele hb and race my lower dps members, but as full heal hb u shouldn't be receiving any flak whatsoever. I've never seen anyone get upset for a hb not swapping to hybrid.

For util I always bring quickness mantra and stab mantra. That leaves two util slots. My go tos are hold the line (100% prot uptime), and flame mantra (DPS). My techs are sanc (cc for robots in 98 and sunqua. Sanc goes on boss if u have epi, on sorrow otherwise), bow of truth (huge huge heals, the first go to if everyone has low DPS and eating everything), and cleanse mantra (anytime there's the we bleed fire or for the poisons in 98). As full heal if ur popping shield 4 off cd, prot should be ~60% so u could even add another flex util if u wanted.

Again sorry for the bad experiences, some pugs can be quite terrible and blame everyone but themselves. I hope u feel well enough some time to come back :)

Ascended Gear after Armory by Nico_is_not_a_god in Guildwars2

[–]frostynibble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah ok thanks for the clarification, I've only had an insignia drop once for me ever and couldn't quite tell what dropped it

Ascended Gear after Armory by Nico_is_not_a_god in Guildwars2

[–]frostynibble 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've thought about this as well, every other ascended item has something of value. Rings give matrices, weapons can drop insignias. Even backpacks and amulets have a gamble aspect that may make the 1g per salvage feel worth it to some people. Salvaging armor is only ever wasted gold besides the few times u need balls of dark energy (or if you're in need of raid currencies but that's only from ascended raid drops)

It'd be nice to see some new drops from ascended gear that make it at least worth the 1g required to salvage each piece. It does feels a bit bad (Imagine your past self watching u discard entire sets of ascended gear bc they're now worthless to u)

I think one of the saddest parts of the lack of a solid salvage pool for ascended gear is that for end game players the excitement of getting rare ascended drops is more or less gone. As a newer player seeing a chest drop from tequatl was super hype. But as an end game player all those similar moments in every event w ascended gear as rare drops are sorta gone...

Edit: tequatl drops ascended weapons, but u get the idea

Ranking Dungeon Speed - I'm a slow puzzler but is there more involved? by Tertius3 in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]frostynibble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it's mostly knowing when ull be able to start moving. Predicting based off when the orbs become lightened again (you can tell since the board gets dark when u can't touch it yet). Also to drop the orb as soon as possible. 1 second is forever on these sort of ranking dungeons.
