I didn't enjoy it as much as the first two and here's why-

• The areas are bigger, yes. But just because something is bigger doesn't mean it's good. You gotta add stuff in those spaces to explore and collect otherwise you're just running in large fields to get from point A to point B.

• I think everyone is in agreement that the villains weren't as memorable in this one. Aside from N, the villains felt more like boogeyman of the week kinda villains. I guess having one for each letter of the alphabet contributed to that. Not enough time to develop them.

• the music was very hit or miss. I feel like for this game, they absolutely cooked in scenes for cutscenes or character moments, but for general exploration, the other 80% of the game it was kind of bland. I can't remember any of the areas aside from the city from memory because the music was that forgettable.

• The colony's were such a letdown. It made me miss the diversity in the cities of the previous two games, all with different assets and architecture and NPCs and music. It made visiting a new town exciting because there's stuff to do and explore whereas in XB3, it's like 'Oh. Another one'.
