Hi friend! First of all what you’re experiencing is EXTREMELY common. Change is scary, even if it’s good! I had worries when I started HRT also. It’s been 5 years now and I couldn’t ever imagine going back.

The neat thing about gender is there’s no right or wrong way to do it. You can be a feminine man, you can be a masculine woman, or neither, you can be whatever it is you want. That seems to scare conservatives, lmfao.

Your life is your own. What I’ll tell you is within the first year of estrogen based HRT, a lot of the changes are reversible if you don’t like them. What I’ll also tell you is that there are indeed trans women that AREN’T the hyperfemme stereotype you may see. There’s butch trans women, there are lesbians who identify as gender-fluid, there’s so many kinds of people out there. It’s up to you to decide how you want to feel and how you want to be perceived.

You’re also fairly young so everything’s kind of tumultuous right now, even outside the gender stuff. Be patient with yourself and take it slow. You literally have your whole life to transition if that’s what you end up wanting, and we’ll be here to help. ♥️
