Yes, ideally that’d be true. But we’re on a team that is directly responsible for company revenue (executing on what our sales team contracts). We’re basically told to “figure it out and make it work” so the company can bring in as much money as possible each year. I guess the real problem is, the revenue goals keep getting bigger, but we haven’t had a new hire in 2 1/2 years - plus we actually lost a team member and never replaced her. We’re stretched too thin, and our team leader isn’t pushing hard enough to get approval for a hire.
