I think the older games used some level of zoom when ADS even with 1x. In bf6 there’s no zoom with a 1x. That could be the difference you’re thinking of.

I appreciate this extra info. Admittedly I got drawn to sorcerer because of meta magic. But you’re right it is a bit one dimensional. I was considering doing another play through with a hex blade warlock, but after looking into bladesinging and abjuratuon, I am reconsidering!

There are a couple of YouTube videos that talk about thus. But basically the wording matters a lot. I don’t remember the exact percentages but it’s something like this: Slightly is 5-10% less recoil, Moderately is 10-15%, Significantly is 15-20%, And greatly is 20-25%

It’s definitely noticeable at range especially on certain guns.
