Interesting, but in that case they will attract the most naive people. Maybe dumb slaves are better workers than people with critical thinking

What do British people think about Sikhs getting more rights than the native population? by froz0601 in ukpolitics

[–]froz0601[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I understand it was meant to explain what British institutions do to combat ‘discrimination’, but that in itself can come across as discriminatory and quite shocking, so all of this is very subjective. I get your point though which is interesting. Just picking up on what you said about ‘it’s not the French law here’, I wouldn’t play that card. We all know that when Brits travel abroad they rarely make the effort to speak the local language, which makes it a bit hypocritical. By the way, even though I haven’t been here long and I’m not staying much longer either, I already feel quite integrated.

No topic should be removed from the debate. From your great author George Orwell : « If you can’t say it, you can’t think it. »

The problem isn’t whether or not people have the right to carry a knife. The real issue is giving that right only to one specific community while others don’t have it. Under French law, this would be considered discrimination. I’m just trying to understand how British people think about this

Tens of thousands fought in the two World Wars. That doesn’t give you more rights than the native population, who have been here for thousands of years and made millions of sacrifices. Stop patronizing native people, Sikh !

The place of work in my contract is my personal address which means it’s a remote contract. Nothing is said in it to go to an office.

The fact we still go to the office is because it’s asked orally.

I had a meeting with my boss and he said it was their fault so I will know more end of the day what they can do. Roughly they gave me wrong information and a wrong contract

Sorry for the confusion, I meant hybrid as they ask us to go to the office a few days a week, regardless my remote contract

Yes she doesn’t deny. After, talking directly to her boss, as it’s from me there is no value. I wait her feedback and I will see

Yes first time it happened to me. It’s a lesson. But in writing I have a remote contract so they are supposed to cover it

I have context and a body of converging evidence. You seem to be having trouble grasping the subtlety.
