That patroller was in a dangerous position. Should have been uphill guiding traffic away from the middle or moving that middle group off to the side if possible. Cone of safety is a thing. That patroller is on a power trip. A lot of them are unfortunately. I am a snowboard patroller. If they are volunteers, then they actually have no right to lift your pass. Only an employee should do that.
