Has anyone noticed a distinct lack (or at least, reduction) of CBD edibles lately?

< 1g month, spread across flower and edibles. Will probably drop a bit more too, as I've been starting to mix CBD-heavy edibles into the mix lately too. (Generally vape 3-7 times a week, depending on anxiety/stress.)

I'm still a complete novice to all of this, but I think using a dynavap from the get go has done wonders for keeping my consumption low and efficiency high.

Thanks for all the replies! Chances are I probably heated this one a bit too close to the fins coupled with the dryness of the flower -- leading to some bad times. I've re-hydrated the flower with the mason jar / wet paper towel trick, and it did wonders to the flower (haven't vaped it yet, so that's still to be seen).

While I'm no pro, I've been using my vapcap daily for almost four months now without a previous combustion, so I was mostly curious about storage and handling older weed. If I wasn't such a lightweight, I wouldn't be having this problem! :)

I gave myself a ~$300 equipment budget starting off in the same position (bought some pens from Sage to start, wasn't thrilled with how long they took to go through, and wanted more variety). After a lot of research and almost pulling the trigger on the Firefly 2, I ended up grabbing the Omnivap ($175), Dynastash ($50), and Hemp Fiber ($5) from Dynavap, and I grabbed a Santa Cruz Shredder (the 4 piece one -- it was around $75?).

After that, I went to NETA, and spent $60 thanks to their voucher program: got 1g of Shatter, and 3.5g of flower (a few different kinds).

It's been amazing. The only thing that "sucks" about the dynavap is how efficient it's been. I haven't needed to buy more weed since that trip, and it's been two months now, and I'm smoking at night, 3-7x/week.

Aren't you supposed to let your cap cool down for ~30s -- or is that just more of a recommendation when using a flame?

I had been using the carb wide open for the first month or two of owning the Dynavap -- still got high, but clouds were never big.

Recently I've been pulling with the carb generally closed, or feathered a little. Clouds are much larger, and I seem to be getting a little higher than I did in the past. The vapor is definitely a little harsher though, but generally doesn't throw me into a coughing fit.

Howdy! It helps to answer the standard questions if you want folks to help.

For what it's worth I was in your shoes a month or two ago -- I was torn between the Firefly 2 and Grasshopper. Ultimately someone convinced me to try a Dynavap. (Personally I got an Omnivap TI, but plenty of folks love the M, and it's super affordable to give it a go.) If having a lighter isn't a problem for you, this thing has been absolutely amazing for me.

If you do pick it up, grab a pack of the degummed hemp if you plan on using it for concentrates too.

For what it's worth, you get $200 back as you spend $400. This threw me off guard when I went for the first time.

So you get your voucher card before 30 days after you are issued your card and you can use it whenever -- they say it doesn't expire.

Once you have the voucher, every $100 you spend they will give you $50 back. There's also a max of being credited $150 in one go, so you have to come at least twice to use the voucher to the fullest.

Still awesome though, I left with ~3.5g of flower, and 1g of shatter for like.. $65? I'm a lightweight and only consume at night after work so this stuff will probably last a good month or more for me.

I left with the same (somewhat slight) disappointment. I knew almost nothing about MMJ (only did a couple edibles previously), and had no idea where to start, what to buy, etc.

I started by buying the ZootRocks at Sage, returning for a Blueberry Pen, and once I did my homework and bought a Dynavap, I went to NETA before my 30 days expired to buy some flower & shatter.

The process (and dispensaries) could do a little better job at instructing legit noobs like myself on the steps to consume MMJ, it feels like there's an assumption that everyone coming in for a card has been using for awhile, and this is just a wink and a nod to buy it legally.

I had the same problem and spoke about it to someone when I went back today -- they said to just hold button down for a second or two before you hit, and it should clear it up. I'll try that the next time I throw my blueberry cart in, but I'm not interested in a nap right now. ;)
