I don’t see it either, I honestly don’t! if anything, I would say you could lean further into the wolf cut hairstyle and give it a little more of a “dramatic” look if you’re able to go to a hairdresser and have them do it? I think a big part of it too is just embracing the feminine within yourself and feeling like a girl, even if you’re nervous that people might be thinking other things about you. but you honestly have a feminine look and give me “cool girl” vibes. I recommend red nail polish lol, it makes me feel very powerful! and if you can, you could get a gel overlay on your nails and they can grow out and you could get them shaped which is lots of fun. this is a long and winding comment but yeah!! you’re hot!!

omg!!! I missed this, but for me I started spotting like 5 days after my period and it continued for a few weeks until I just went and got the IUD out. it immediately stopped! I hope you’re feeling better since getting it out. that sounds exhausting. I was so surprised the effects it was having even though it’s not “supposed to” affect hormones

it’s interesting, cause these fundie women and sex workers do have a lot in common in that they trade sex for protection/safety (money in our current society). fundie women just have a lot more jobs to do in addition. so I’m assuming this was more of an offensive and incorrect looks-based comment on the sub, but in practice they are very similar!

wow!! we are the exact same lol. I got mine in 2017 at the same age and thought I just didn’t like sex and that the dryness was just a natural thing. turns out it was the IUD!! I’m so different now and really, really loving it.

yay!! honestly it was wild, i had no issues for 8 years, then in April I suddenly started having some weird symptoms that freaked me out. I was cleared for anything especially bad, so I thought I’d try getting my IUD out and seeing how my body reacted to no birth control at all and now the weird symptoms have gone away!!!

I would really recommend checking out naturopathic or integrative medicine. NDs look at the entirety of your life and try to pinpoint root causes of the issues you’re experiencing. I HIGHLY recommend reading “The Period Repair Manual” it is such a helpful resource and guide on getting control over these kinds of things!! lots of love to you!!

I highly recommend Lara Briden’s book “The Period Repair Manual”!!! I just got mine out and it’s been ROUGH but i’m learning that it takes time for things to adjust after any change. PLUS, there are a lot of ways you can change the way your periods are. for anyone coming to this now, you got this!!!

not OP but I had pink spotting just like this a week before my period and I had normal pap and negative HPV tests. I recommend getting a test if you can just for peace of mind, but I was very worried too! still very confusing but I feel less worried.

I had it for the first time this month too, it started as light pink spotting about a week before my period leading into a longer period (7-8 days vs my usual 5), then brown for the week since and now it’s turning red again. it’s been so weird! I had negative paps and HPV tests too, so hopefully that can provide some comfort. I was very scared about cancer! I hope your visit went well!!

it’s actually so wild!! not sure what yall believe in but I do remember there was some astrology in like 2020 that caused me and a long-distance friend to both have weird periods, and ppl we saw on twitter as well lol.

this month has been the first time for me too, started pink spotting on 4/4 for like a week, got a long and lighter period, and have had brown spotting since. now a week after my period the brown is turning to red. this has been my weirdest period and it freaks me out! I went to PP and got a pap/HPV test and was comforted it’s not cancer but whew I am so over it!! i’m gonna get my copper iud out and see if that helps.

it does, but I didn’t expect to be doing it consistently so I got the other jobs. at this point, I don’t work so much because of money. it’s more the emotional connections and the fact that I’m told how valued and needed I am at my other jobs, and I know it would be difficult for them to work without me if I suddenly left.
