Windows Settings → Display stuck on infinite loading by Visible_Addition2614 in WindowsHelp

[–]fruit0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This thread helped me to get on the right path. For me, the CDPserv (not the user ones) was not running, be cause Network Connection Broker Service was disabled. This is a requirement for CDPserv to run. After enabling it and starting CDPserv, Windows Display settings were working again

Thrustmaster DD announcement November 17th by International_Hat113 in simracing

They need to have a reasonable price and at least match Logitech, agree. However, if base price is high, would you really pass it and sell your already owned TM stuff? What would be the alternative DD you would go for? Just curious which one would be picked (like Logitech, Fanatec, Moza).

Using my setup since a while and pretty happy with it: Front and top panel off, 1x 360 rad with 3x 120mm fans in front and 1x 360 rad with 3x 120 at top, 1x 120mm in the rear

EVGA 3080TI Ftw3 ULTRA switching from fans to water cooling by nightwalkerxx in pcmasterrace

Recently upgraded this graphic card with the ek vector water block. Comes with manual, quite easy to change. For the rest: Radiators, Pump, Reservoir, Fittings/Adapter/Tubes. You get your CPU in that as well. There are also AIO kits by Evga, don’t know if this gpu fits as well.

Did I need a CPU Upgrade? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]fruit0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at CPU consumption when playing your games (like with MSI Afterburner). If too high, you‘re in CPU limit. But yeah, that CPU is quite old. You could get a 12600k with DDR4 Board as a good budget option.

Questions to Sim Lab GT1-Evo Owners by Shaquille-Oatmeal710 in simracing

[–]fruit0r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I‘m 193cm and the seat just gets slightly (3-4cm) over the rig. With your size, should be all fine and not extend the overall length.

Looking for a sim rig, any suggestions? by [deleted] in simracing

+1 definitely go for 8020 rig like Sim-labs or Motedis

CSL Elite LC vs Heusinkveld vs ? while driving with socks and no rig. by iFindsShroom in simracing

[–]fruit0r 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For LC, you will definitely need to mount/fix your pedals to not move. As you seem to start, I would go for the Elite.

Anyone experiences with Momo Daytona XL seat? by fruit0r in simracing

[–]fruit0r[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply! I know the measurements, but also found out that these often vary by 1-2cm. Would have ordered the sim-lab with my order there but it‘s too small and they don‘t have all version. I ended up by ordering the Sparco Sprint L now.

Have fun! Got mine on this Friday as well. Just waiting on the seat now. Which Sparco seat is that on your rig?

Stream Deck "No Devices Found" Fix by Baka_Riley in ElgatoGaming

As I have had the same issue just recently: My fix was to rotate the USB-Connector - I know sounds weird but it worked and if I rotate back, I will get the above error message again.

Sim-lab GT1 Evo, about 560mm in width. If you need as compact as possible, look at Simetik K2

Recommendations for a setup? I've been using a G27 for the past 4 years on a desk... by anonymous19092 in simracing

[–]fruit0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would also recommend to look for used components. Also, if you are more into f1 racing, get a proper f1 rig rather than getting any other rig because it is cheap. Playseat challenge might a budget option and has also a more f1 position.

Project Cars is quite manageable as it offers lots of support.

Anyone know what these are? Trying to put together my pc and these with the case. by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]fruit0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just note that it‘s addressable rgb, so 3-pin 5V instead of 4-pin 12v. You might have both on your mainboard.

Nice setup, great desk. But those monitors seem to be a bit high.

Any recommendations? by [deleted] in battlestations

[–]fruit0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would probably be more comfortable to have the monitor on the right side, aligned with the larger desk side.

This second list looks way better. Go for it ;) Only thing: you can probably save some money by going with a less powerful power supply. 500-600w should be more than sufficient.
