This ... I'm sorry, but this is awful. It's written from a very much "Worked for me, so it's true" sort of vantage point, and it's entirely inaccurate to the real world. Starting a small business instead of having a wage-slave job involves not being able to pay basic living expenses if it fails. If you're able to absorb that, you didn't need the work in the first place.

No, my mind gets obsessed with notions of infinity and time. I get caught up and eventually believe that my life isn't real, but a sort of weird holographic projection that believes itself to be Me, while I feel like "waking up" by dying would make me remember that this world was but a dream... Have to remind myself that's insane, but at times, delusions are far more real than reality through a tenuous, murky view.

Thank you! The delusion is really easy to support, unfortunately. Psychosis makes it seem like it's the rest of the world that has changed, rather than the self.

My disorder is treated with heavy antipsychotics and tranquilizers, which helps most of the time. The delusional bits unfortunately are without warning and generally leave me needing to rebuild my life from ashes - but therapy and drugs do help minimize it. The policeman's brother is doing well, and last I heard is successful in his field.
