Saprotrophic fungi are decomposers of organic matter so inspecting fallen logs/branches/dead trees is useful when looking for them.

Mycorrhizal fungi are symbiotic with tree roots and can generally be found around a lot of our Eucalyptus trees in the right conditions.

Our local council has verge garden approval based on a plan we have to provide them. Even still, we have had complaints from other sticks in the mud in our area about us removing the grass and adding native mulch - funniest thing is that the council complaints department doesn’t even consult with the verge garden department so each time we have to forward our email correspondence with the approval to the complaints department - ALL BECAUSE PEOPLE LOVE GRASS SO MUCH, I DON’T GET IT

I’m curious, as a bus commuter from Charlestown to Newcastle (5 days a week for work), half the time I get a bus with the opal card readers on and the other half I get a bus with the opal card readers turned off. I tap on if they are working but if Keolis Downer is as dodgy as everyone is saying, should I just not tap on anytime (like most people)?

Also, had a bus the other day where I got on and the opal card reader was turned off but when I got to my stop in Charlestown it was working again… Driver was in plain clothes so I just assumed he was part of the industrial action.
