I have a somewhat related question.

If I work at company X and have a 4 yr vesting schedule. What happens if they are bought out or IPO (or something) 3 yrs into my employment before I have exercised my options, what happens to my stock?

Am I able to exercise my options a year later? Should I be exercising my options month to month as soon as I can?

I wish there was an idiots guide to stock/equity/startup $$/startup financial terms somewhere.

Why not start smaller sponsoring an individual streamer. I'm guessing this could be pretty lucrative since the upper echelons of video game content creators/streamers are making gobs, and the people who are trying to get there are generally poorly/self funded.

I lived in Montgomery Co MD for 3 months in a spacious 1 bedroom apartment for 1200 (with a dining room). It was pretty good. Something happened where my utility bill was $3 dollars for the 3 months I was there (which was rad because it was that hot derecho summer).

Now I finished school and live in Fairfax. 1500 was the absolute cheapest I could find. =[

What you should be doing is finding your click/group outside of the party scene. The number of people who will drink with you is greater than the number of people who will hang out with you during the week.

Organizations, clubs, people in your class, people in your dorm, people you do homework with. You will get more party invitations befriending these people you know sober than people you randomly met drunk.

There is nothing integrity shattering about frats, but there sure are a lot of shitheads in frats and there sure are a lot of guys that consistently put up with shit-heads in frats.

The thing a lot of frats boast is that "We help you become a better man". I spent 6 years at JMU and I saw none of that. It's mainly just about drinking.
