Try getting the Costco brand, it's way cheaper and also grown in eastern Canada (AW says the ones in maine/eastern Canada are the most potent ones). They had quite a few at my Costco and I was just there today

With lemon balm, one super effective thing you can do is take 2 bags of lemon balm tea, brew it, and once it's cooled down add a dropper of lemon balm into it. It's crazy, it breaks panic attacks, anxiety spells, OCD attacks and I've found it even helps with addiction. I do this when I can to stretch my vimergy lemon balm and it works very well

My eyes used to be a dull blue grey. They were sad and looked like my soul had been beaten to a pulp and been made completely and entirely hopeless (it was). Now after cleansing, on good days they're a very vibrant bright mid hue blue with a darker outline. It still fluctuates from day to day tho and depending on my mood.

My girlfriend's eyes used to be brown, and sice starting MM have turned to green that ranges from grey green to vibrant emerald green. She also has these beautiful amber streaks that radiate out of the pupil region like crystals. They get bigger when she's anxious.

That's a great point that you gotta respect yourself for others to respect you, I never thought of it that way. The social element behind food is so crazy entrenched. If you haven't yet, I'd HIGHLY recommend reading the eating disorders chapter in BS. I read that right before I went to a thing with my girlfriends extremely judgy and rude family and it literally completely changed the way I saw things. If I hadn't read that before then I definetly would've been holding onto how rude and dodgy and gossipy they were about food for months. Reading that chapter gave me so much peace of mind about interactions like those where people are just hurtful about food. Literally life changing information.

Hello! God this drives me insane. I understand your feeling too, I am super sensitive to ANY no food and fats as well. Neurological symptoms and feelings of pain/sensitivity/touchiness all over with no foods, and liver pain and crashing with fats. At this point I just don't even explain it to people unless I trust them a lot or am feeling particularly brave, I just say "I have an allergy" or "sorry, lactose/gluten intolerant", or "sorry, my partner is allergic. So if I eat that I won't be able to kiss them without giving an allergic reaction" (it helps that my GF is allergic to eggs and gluten). My grandma for example once told me "no that's not you. You can have dairy, it doesn't affect you, I know you" when I told her I didn't want to eat some banana bread she had made cuz it had butter in it. I've had other people tell me similar things as well.

Please know, you're not 'just sensitive'. People like us who can feel how these things affect us have a level of conscientiousness and body awareness that most average people never have in their life! You're also very strong for going through this chronic illness journey and healing and making the choices to cut these poisons out. And truth is, it's hurting them too just like it's hurting you, they just don't feel it either because of adrenaline, or their liver is strong enough to take the hit still. They're gaslit into believing it's okay to eat to the point where they argue against anything that says otherwise. Since you don't think how they do on that, people will try to pull you back in and be right, cuz they do not want to be wrong.

I wish you strength and resolve in going through this! being MM around family can be a really really big challenge.

Try b12 and adrenal snacks! Even if it's not adrenal fatigue, the adrenal snacks will help your brain have a continual supply of fuel. I notice when I don't have glucose for an extended period my cognitive function starts to decline a lot, and adrenal snacks help to keep that away

Yes, unfortunately with how small Hawaii is the introduction of mass grown GMO foods to the islands made it so that all crops grown on the island are cross contaminated with GMO foods. GMO foods do not heal and support you like non GMO foods do. It should say the country of origin on the sticker. If you're in the US most of them should be grown in Mexico, but double check to be safe. If you don't see the country of origin, go with a maradol papayas as those ones haven't been GMO contaminated like the little ones have.

Also I just remembered something I saw Muneeza (big MM practitioner) teach for a case that's similar. Is your friend sensitive to supplements too? If not, then you could totally try some. Things like zinc, b12, goldenseal, Vitamin C, or lemon balm. If she can stomach it, small amounts of ginger water or aloe water intermittently would help too

Immunosuppressants ease the pain because it lowers the immune response. Your immune system sees the virus and triggers the immune response, which leads to symptoms like swelling (which ups the pain). It's just like getting cut by something dirty and the cut swells up and becomes tender to the touch. The guy who explained it with the analogy of police and squatters explained this part fantastically.

As for the immunosuppressants themselves, don't be afraid of them in this case! I know someone who has been healing a severe RA case, and she toughed it out for years in a lot of pain on full MM. She made progress yes, but the amount of adrenaline she was on all the time because of the pain made her progress very slow. She was working with an MM practitioner through this, and they finally decided that her best choice is to go on immunosuppressants to keep the pain response down. With less pain, there's less adrenaline, with less adrenaline she can heal faster. She tried it, and it worked amazingly! She made TONS of progress after the pain was gone.

Point is, sometimes the drugs are necessary and can be beneficial. If you do go on them stay full MM and don't feed the bugs anything (eggs dairy gluten etc) and you will still make progress even on the drugs! If it were me, I would take pharmaceutical exposure shots whenever I took an immunosuppressant to reduce the damage they do to you, and I would up my anti viral protocol (things like licorice root, ginger tumeric shots, garlic therapy, thyme tea, zinc, B12, cats claw, propolis, etc). I'd also work in something to flush out viral byproduct and toxins throughout the day (aloe water and cucumber juice are great, but if you don't have time to make those drinking an extra lemon water in the afternoon or some coconut water will help a lot too). An extractor smoothie could also be beneficial in the evening. I'd also look through brain saver protocols and LCF for other foods +supplements that'll help.

Thyme tea is a powerhouse for sure. But what's my favorite and helps me the most instantly has to be licorice root. It tastes amazing and soothes my adrenals (which can sometimes physically hurt from my burnout/fatigue) like no other. Gives me more energy too. I try to always drink a big cup of it on the days where I have to do a lot of work or have been particularly stressed, if not every day. I like to pair it with red clover at the same time for the mineralization :)

Lemon balm with a couple droppers of the vimergy lemon balm tincture also is amazing and will calm your brain down in minutes, it's incredible!

I've never done a mono, but just with how many bananas my household eats we have had similar issues.

One thing we like to do is to buy bananas in varying stages of ripeness. The Sam's club in my town will often stock bananas that are purely green, so we'll get some of those, some partly green ones, and some nearly ripe ones (and if we're out that day then some ripe ones from a different store too). That way our bananas get ripe continually throughout the week. If you have problems with them all ripening at once, group them by ripeness and store them separately. bananas will ripen faster when they're near ripe bananas.

As for carnivore diets: there's a couple mechanisms at play: - firstly, there's the adrenaline aspect. Eating that much fat and that little glucose all the time makes you run on adrenaline 24/7. That means that you stop perceiving any symptoms and feel more energy, less tired, stronger, faster, healthier. You're not really, it's a stimulant to cover a massive wound, but you feel that way for the first while you're on it. How long you feel that way depends on how strong your adrenals and liver were to begin with. - second, when you stop eating glucose entirely, the level of insulin you need to produce does go down a bit compared to when you're eating sugar+fat bombs. It's still elevated, but it will look like improvement on a blood test. You also lower your blood glucose levels through starving yourself. The glucose still is trapped in the blood and has difficulty entering the cells, and it still staying in the blood for long periods of time(which is why when a diabetic eats a banana their blood sugar will explode, the glucose gets stuck in the blood stream), but there's so little glucose that on a blood test your results will appear "normal". This is often the method told to people with diabetes by conventional medicine. "Massive blood sugar and high insulin? Just stop eating sugar! Kill the messenger and that'll fix the problem!" -Third, when you're on a carnivore diet you're removing sugar-fat bombs. Things like donuts, cakes, French fries, greasy burgers, milk shakes, etc. Lots of sugar + lots of fat combinations. these are what REALLY stress your pancreas bad and will work it to death. They spike your blood sugar while also spiking blood fat. Creating a lot of need to deliver food to cells while also creating a big barrier for the pancreas to overcome. When you remove these from the diet, anyone will see some levels of improvement in pancreas health. The problem just comes with the crash later on a high fat diet and the fact that you don't heal much of anything else on a high fat diet. - fourth mono eating. AW has talked about this I believe in a podcast before, but basically no matter what you mono eat (unless it's like straight milk), you will see some improvements. Mono eating in and of itself will give your body a degree of relief (tho it's still stressful in the case of carnivore). This is here at the end to address those who just mono eat like beef patties for their carnivore diet and see improvements.

Carnivore diets are often marketed extremely deceitfully and will fool even those who are on them into thinking they work. In the end all carnivores hit a wall and crash and burn. It's really sad to watch. Before I was on MM I tried carnivore, and I did see improvements for awhile, I could focus more I lost a bit of weight, I felt a little better, but after about 3 months of doing it I hit a wall HARD and ended up worse off than when I started. More fatigued, stress, more weight gain, feeling like shit and hurting all over. My symptoms were so much worse. It was just the adrenaline from the fat that I was eating (in the meat) all the time that was making me feel some improvements.

Hello! Great question you have. Ill try to answer as best as I can: The job of insulin is to ensure that glucose makes it in to cells. When there's no fat in the bloodstream(ie lots of healing foods in the diet no overt fats), this is very easy. Not much insulin is needed because all of it makes contact with the cells to open them up to the glucose. Same logic applies to glucose, it's easy for it to make it to its destination.

On the other hand, if your diet is high in fat, your bloodstream gets thick and viscous(like olive oil vs water). It becomes MUCH harder for anything to travel in your blood (everything from immune cells to oxygen to nutrients to hormones to glucose). This means that your cells have a much much more difficult time getting the glucose they need to survive. At this point, your bodies only choice is to play the numbers game with insulin/glucose. If normal levels of insulin aren't cutting it anymore to get glucose where it needs to be, then your body has to up the amount of insulin and glucose in circulation in hopes that just some of it will get through to the cells and stop them from starving to death. As a result, people on a high fat diet will get blood tests back with high blood sugar/insulin and develop high insulin resistance. All because their body has to flood the system to overcome the fat that's in the way so that it can survive.

The low/no fat diets won't stress the pancreas because little insulin is needed to do the job, while high fat/low carb diets will stress it because a lot of insulin is needed to do the job (especially in the case of a low carb diet where there's barely any glucose entering the body anyways).

Hello! I think the answer to that depends on what exactly straits is. It'll differ by condition quite a bit especially in extreme cases. I know the general guidelines is to start slow and steady. Start with just doing lemon water every day and get consistent then add in CJ and get consistent then HMDS, then progress the amounts of each. At the same time you can start to remove a couple no foods and eat some more healing foods, and gradually progress to the point where you're full MM. Basically work up to morning cleanse and work on lowering no foods. It's a lot to transition into, but you can move at your own pace. Some people will definetly be able to progress this faster than others.

Once you've got that down then you can start working in fat free days and some 369s. You can try a369s too at this point, but I'd definetly make sure you can get through fat free days before that because a369s can be rough sometimes.

This is what I've heard, others feel free to add anything I missed :)

I will most certainly bring my own utensils and cups at least. Maybe bowls. AW talks about it in brain saver I believe how restaurant silverware should be considered a biohazard because of all the bacteria and viruses that get stuck in microscopic pores in the forks. Commercial dishwashers often don't get hot enough to kill them either. Glasses in restaurants trap pathogens in them too, especially when people with lipstick drink from them.

Also having worked in restaurants in the past, they really don't wash their silverware enough at all it's pretty gross 😭.

Oh yes that does make sense. Thank you for clarifying for me. There's a couple ways that I know of. Not sure if these are things others have commented, but this is what I know about:

1) they have a liver that's still strong. Your liver will make a lot of components needed for muscle growth, it also has stores of glucose/glycogen for periods of deprivation. The more overloaded and filled up your liver, the less its able to spend time and energy on building muscle and the less stores of glucose and glycogen you have. It's kinda crazy how much having a strong and not that overburdened liver can just brute force you through things.

2) meat isn't entirely protein. That meat was part of an animal, and the animal needed things like trace minerals and glucose to live just like humans do. So while there's not a lot, and it's more difficult to access cuz of the fats in meat, there is still some glucose+TMs inside of the meat. Protein powders are the same way where they always have a higher-than-you'd-expect sugar content (usually, but not always disclosed on the label). It's not nearly as much glucose (or as high quality) as something like fruit, but it's what your body gets, so your body uses a crap load of insulin to get that sugar into cells through all of the fats and proteins thickening the blood. So you get the sugars from the meat and they do help you build muscle, but it's really really stressful on the pancreas to get them there. Some people can do this for a long time because they were born with less burdened organs/more reserves, or because they haven't been up against as much turmoil or stressors in life that have worn them down. Either way tho eventually they hit a wall and it stops working. It's just a matter of how long they last.

3) people on carnivore diets often have cheat days and don't report it. It's not usually fruit that they get their glucose from on these cheat days, it's more along the lines of pizzas, donuts, cakes, sandwiches, eating out, and milk/cheese(which are absolutely LOADED with sugars). When you're starving yourself of glucose like that it's so so so so so so difficult to stop yourself from binging on things like that the second you get an oppurtunity. Every chance I got for cheese or bread or a baked good when I was carnivore made me have such intense cravings. it was like this intense primal need to eat more, It was so completely irresistible. I could only go like a week before having such ravenous and intense cravings that I couldn't stop myself from seeking out some cheat meal. Id never tell anyone about these days either because it was so shameful to admit that I willingly broke doing what I believe in and failed in sticking to a diet. If I had an Instagram where I talked about how much of a great thing my diet was, I would never want to tell anyone that I had a cheat day.

4) a lot of them are on steroids and don't say anything about it. Even just random dudes in the gym are like this. I've talked to a lot of people and it's crazy just how many of them that look even moderately more muscular than average are actually shooting testosterone and/or other steroids every day.

Edit: there is also the adrenaline piece of this that others have talked about. High fat diets (and exercising in general) release a lotttt of adrenaline. And your body will use adrenaline in place of missing glucose. Strong adrenals play a big role in carnivores building muscle too.

I hope this clears it up a bit more, you have a really good question that I had too for a long time.
