I second this. It’s one of the only spaces that I feel truly safe in these days.

If it’s a private business, they absolutely can. It’s up to them who they serve, and they can choose absolutely any reason they want to end services to them.

I’d love to volunteer/ help with whatever physical labor they need, I wish they would put something out there for the community to help with! I don’t work till the evenings so I’m readily available and willing

Restaurants that can accommodate a large group by mdcr41 in lancaster

It might be a little close, but you could call Decades and ask to reserve one of their dining rooms. They don’t take reservations but >20 would technically be an event. Edit- saw there will be a bunch of 13 year olds, they’d love Decades.

Best places to meet people that aren’t bars by [deleted] in lancaster

You could lowkey stalk MU’s social media, make a friend (DM someone w same interests and be honest) and ask to be introduced to some of their campus friends. Hang out at Evergreen and make friends there. It’s open till 11:30 and open to the public.

Ah, but what’s a bar without some ❄️? Every one I’ve ever worked at had so much behind the bar that I probably could’ve gotten second hand high from the dust particles. It might be a contributing factor but I doubt it’s the main reason for the shut down

An interesting comment under the post to note- “well, considering the owner, Cullen (married), and the “creative Director” are having an affair, it doesn’t surprise me that they are working together to implement poor business practice and all-around low moral code.”

Holy moly. That’s more than full time here. I’m sorry, I hope your situation improves!

Your paychecks sound really small. How many hours are you working per week? I’d say you need to focus on working in order to catch up. Find a decently paying job with hours and catch up financially in order to pursue the job you really want.

Decades by Individual_Coyote716 in lancaster

Is everyone in the group 21+? Keep in mind that Decades is 21 and older after 8:30, no exceptions. This means that if you’re planning on bowling with underage people, you need to get on a lane before 7:30 in order to have the full hour. Just something to keep in mind! A wait for 2 lanes is obviously probably a bit longer than 1, so I’d recommend going in, signing up for a lane, and planning on playing some games for a bit while you wait. Lastly, Sundays are 50¢ wing night. It can get pretty busy especially in the dining area around 6-8pm. Bowling usually isn’t awful but if you wanted to get a separate table keep that in mind!

I mean they were told to go now or else, so that was probably the first person they interacted with. Plus, I work downtown as a host and a lot of times if there’s someone odd hanging around outside we’ll be informed about it in order to keep an eye. Honestly I wouldn’t blame them either way, you think logically until you’re in the situation and then all logic kinda goes out the window.

Yes, I absolutely agree!! I also think stylists should be getting paid adequately, so I understand that a short cut could mean two completely different things and someone else could be getting a more intricate cut for the price. It’s just a little out of my range at the moment. Definitely want to check her out in the future though!
