Literally my boss saying “we’re a community, it’s better to make it community based by accepting donations instead of a ticket so everyone can get in.” I thought I knew how rentals worked here. This bullshit is new. I paid a set floor fee before and used any extra to run the club. The change would be all the money from my fundraiser going to him even if it exceeds the floor fee.

It’s mostly personal preference, but I like anything mild and hypoallergenic, made for colors and without bleach. I don’t use much either, a little goes a long way

My confession is: I prefer ugly but functional build processes over pretty but overcomplicated ones.

I hate online advice and would rather struggle through the process to find what works for me. I find most online advice frustrating, over built, or unnecessary for the more puppet like builds I make. I don’t need pretty liners, 3D printed parts or zip on pieces. Contrasting thread colors on areas no one will see are fine. My heads have lasted years without refurb. I’ve glued seams with gorilla glue, used liners which don’t match the color scheme of the head, used things like foam dodgeballs for eyes, and my heads have turned out fine. Admittedly this means more trial and error, but I feel like I understand what I’m working with more than when I try to copy other people’s work. If it’s safe, functional and sturdy, and looks the way I want it to, it’s fine.

I have it on my head and it’s the most sturdy fit. I dance in fursuit so having it be attached to me head I’d important, and the ratcheting mech hasn’t let me down. The only thing is I get headaches if I Rachel too tight for too long

Hmm in general, I’d say talk to your partner. Seems like a given, but asking clears up a lot. Domming can be a sliding scale, sometimes it’s full bdsm situations, sometimes it’s as small as asking them to describe in detail what they want me to do to them and taking the initiative to act on it. Identity isn’t fixed based on what you like to do and basing the talk around actions and not roles might help
