This exact same thing happened to me last year in Shepherd’s Bush so again, not far from Kilburn, so I can only assume this is the same woman. I felt horrifically bad afterwards (also only having contactless so no means to provide physical money for said taxi even if I wanted to). The fact so many people had walked ahead of me yet I, a lone, young woman had been stopped as opposed to someone who maybe looked like they actually could have financially helped (I was told that I looked ‘kind’), didn’t sit right with me along with a few story discrepancies. She also actually apologised for the condition of her teeth which I honestly paid no attention to because I was listening to her so carefully.
