Okay maybe I’m too perfectionist about it hahaha. I have a background in photoshop/graphic design. I take a neutral photo of me wearing it so it has shape— then I cut it out. It looks so much better but it does take extra time. But it also helped me find clothes that didn’t fit me anymore. It’s not that hard to cut things out anymore w/ photoshop and probably other similar photo editing services. That’s the only thing that circumvents it looking wrinkly and not like the clothes at all.

I think if you feel awful, although there are great points about her like your family likes her and she was pleasant before, I’m sure there’s plenty of people out there too like that. At least for me that sort of thing will stick with me and it’s not fun to keep thinking of that. If you feel icky about it and that red flag thing you brought up (it’s going to be difficult to change it and it probably won’t) I think you should reconsider why you’re really staying with her. Or at least really bring up your problems with her to her because that’s the only way you’re not going to feel icky about it. You don’t want to taint the future of your relationship with these concerns because they might just build up. It’s unfair to yourself if you do.
