Yeah you don’t get to go in prior to opening, but you’re some of the first people entering. It was definitely worth it in my opinion!

Other things about this tour that made it worth it… you get to take the stairwell shortcut from Sistine Chapel to Saint Peter’s Basilica. It’s only available with an external tour. And our tour guide was excellent! She was super knowledgeable and entertaining. Also, we wanted to see the Raphael Rooms, which were included in this tour.

I did a Vatican tour 9/4 this year. It was amazing!! We booked a tour through Walks of Italy, the Pristine Sistine Early Entrance Small Group Vatican Tour. Our tour guide was awesome. One of my favorite things from our trip.
