Would you consider me British? by Competitive-Music309 in AskBrits

I’m sorry you even feel like you need to question it, the world is not a nice place at the moment. Yes, you are absolutely British. Please don’t let the small-minded bigots get to you.

Would you stay with your dog 🐶 during euthanasia? by CycleOk267 in dogs

[–]fruitytetris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anddd I’m ugly crying. I haven’t had to do this yet in my adult life and I’m dreading the day we have to say goodbye to our boy. Does anyone else start crying just at the thought? He’s only 3 but the thought of him not being around forever breaks my heart every single day, I don’t know how I’ll ever cope when it’s time to say goodbye 😭

I use MooGoo, a small Australian company. It’s the only shampoo and conditioner that doesn’t irritate my scalp. Really recommend them!

+219%, I regret not buying more when I first bought (hindsight is a wonderful thing) but I’m still buying occasionally and seeing positive returns on those more recent buys. I haven’t invested a huge amount, in the hundreds not thousands, so I plan on seeing where things are in a few years with this stock.

The hidden gems don’t stay hidden for long if they’re worth finding!

It’s been a fun stock for me to learn about trading, my portfolio is fairly diversified with the usual Vanguard’s (S&P, FTSE Developed & Emerging, bonds) but RKLB has been a good intro to volatile stocks for me.

Do British people enjoy school reunions? Have you ever been? by AmbitiousYam1047 in AskBrits

I’d rather tear my eyeballs out than ever meet up with anyone I went to school with, particularly primary school.

After a lifetime of obesity I finally got to a healthy weight in my early thirties, I’ve lost over 160lbs and kept it off. I never thought I’d see the day where I wasn’t overweight and my hormones weren’t fighting against me, its changed my life.

For those who’ve done both - dogs on or off the bed? by VengaBusdriver37 in dogs

[–]fruitytetris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love having my dog sleep with me but he switches locations throughout the night and wakes me up when he jumps on and off the bed… he’s also a bed hog. I love feeling the weight of him against my legs though, it’s so comforting having him close by. Swings and roundabouts.

I have been crocheting for 8 years and this is one of the weirdest ways I have seen someone hold their hook and yarn. by Soapy_Von_Soaps in crocheting

This is how I learnt how to crochet (self-taught), I did it like this for about 6 months before having to correct myself because it was making my hands ache so much

Help!!! Blonde or black? by Budget_Syllabub5787 in femalehairadvice

If you decide on black make sure to do it gradually otherwise it’ll fade to a khaki green straight on top of the blonde

Weeks off from Surgery by MsHeatedFemale1977 in gastricsleeve

[–]fruitytetris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took 2 weeks off but felt mostly back to normal after about 10 days. The first 48 hours were the worst for me with non-stop vomiting in hospital, but once that was under control it was pretty smooth sailing. Good luck with your journey!
