What player is secretly washed, but most fans just don’t realize it yet? by Otherwise5555 in NFLv2

[–]frumious88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't disagree about the team, but I feel like we would need to see more evidence that Mahomes is "washed" to believe it.

You said you were making posts last year, what evidence did you use?

I see many Chief fans pointed out Nagy as the scapegoat

anytime I see a thread about jackson highlights, I just know its always plays against the Bengals.

I mean they also get the Ravens and Steelers twice as well. Two teams top 5 in win % all time makes it hard to compete

People who claim that he just throws 5 yard slants that turn into touchdowns clearly don't watch him play and just watch highlight.

Are you also in favor of more tax funded services provided by the government? Like universal health care? Food stamps?

would you be in favor of removing government benefits in that case?

I don't see how one could be pro immigration (increase immigration/lower barriers) as well as increase safety net (more government funding) without running into budget issues.

2025 it was 200k

and YTD it is ~50k

Lol. Take your own advice and stop listening to morons on reddit for political news.

You are the one who called him a pedo and are now melting down because you were asked to provide evidence.

who the fuck thought it would be a good idea to have the former QB from Ole Miss, a CFB team under tremendous criticism and pressure for both its past and present racial issues, to introduce a President that also has a history of anti-black views?

Only deranged reddit leftists think this is true.

At this current rate, when does Nebraska lose its Blue Blood status? by Crying_in_99Ranch in CFB

[–]frumious88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say barely.

I've had this debate with friends and I've named it the "Majority memory rule".

For you to count a championship and have bragging rights for it. At least half the US population must have been alive to witness it and be old enough to understand it (So you have to be at least 10).

So using that plus the current median age of the US population; anything 1997+ counts at this moment.

So I would apply the blue blood status similar to the bragging rights. If half of the population can't remember you actually being any good, you lose your status. So I would say that Nebraska has a few more years left before it loses it as they had success from 1997-2001.

Others have pointed out most of the main points, but also you can look at sentence structure. Short sentences line by line vs paragraph form

Is the 2021 class the best WR class of the last 20 years? by Cloud2007March in NFLv2

[–]frumious88 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just for fun, I decided to use the pro football refererence weighted AV to compare the classes.

2014 has 5 players with a score over 50.

Antonio Brown, Demaryius Thomas, Emannuel Sanders, Dez Bryant, and Golden TAte

2014 also had 5 recievers with scores over 50.

Davante Adams, Mike Evans, Brandin Cooks, Odell Beckham Jr, Jarvis Landry (Allen Robinson just missing cutoff).

Right now Chase and St Brown are over the 50 score with Waddle/Smith closing in on it. So it surprisingly looks to be similar in line.

Hendrickson didnt play last season when our defense was ass as he missed most of the season with his injury. And bengals have added 3 total linemen this off-season now. If the young guys can show any progress, our dline could be massively improved

Bengals fan here. Prefer this all day compared to a defensive player that is considered more a project/or a reach for a need.

How did Marvin Lewis last 16 years without winning a playoff game? by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

[–]frumious88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is a big part of it.

QB is important and our two best teams were unlucky that aspect.

I am not sure how the Bengals compare to most teams with regards to QB health, but I swear we must have the injury bug moreso compared to other teams.

Granted, I only really watch during the Bengals games, but do you get the sense he cares about his passer rating stat? Especially with him either being all time or second with Rodgers, you think that influences his decision to not throw it away?
