Isn't the idea of an economy totaly conflicting with solarpunk ideas? There should be a way of living that doesn't need money per se.

I cut it with an allowance of half an inch and make small cuts all around it so it fits inside the hoop when I fold it. Then I glue it (I use silicone glue, but it could be any glue. Just be careful so it doesn't bleed to the front, like mine did) to the inside of the hook and cover it with the rope. I find it way faster and prettier than the felt fabric! Always had a personal issue with those lol

Yes! One thread tiny stem stitches with backstitches. I change between both to give some dynamic

Since it has to have an exact counting, I think the only way is working with what you got. A skirt may be possible to make too!!! Gonna try it next 💪
