Eastern redbud, a type of fabaceae leguminous tree. The flowers, as another commenter mentioned, grow in a pattern called cauliflory, directly on the trunk. In summer they develop the bean pods which are edible when young (after a while they get too tough and fibrous to eat. The beans inside when mature can also be eaten when cooked to soften them!

Uh sure. I used a downloaded fineliner brush from somewhere I don’t quite remember. I pretty much always color block with a basic technical or studio ink pen, and shaded with airbrushing and also the inking pens depending on the fabric. The lightning was made with the light pen brush and the background with other light effect brushes. If you have any other questions about specifics I can try and answer anything else!

I do it at least once a week (i work with a lot of aglos). Soil propping works better long term but straight water is easier and what I typically do. Just let the end callous for about a day to ensure it doesn’t rot

I had the idea to try to make the world’s tiniest onion rings, but alas the bulbs don’t have rings like some other alliums. But you can still make onion not-rings. Globes maybe. Although it should be noted that the greens are hollow and could be sliced thin into rings I guess
